@PhilbruProduction Merci beaucoup Philippe. Malheureusement Tornado a depuis été à nouveau échoué avec des séjours chaudière cassée, laisse ainsi espérer que ce n'est pas long avant que cette belle machine est à nouveau sur la canalisation principale. Mike
@robmasterman thanks Bob. You get the feeling there's always plenty in reserve. I'd like to see the loco over Shap again with a heavier loading and in more typical northern weather.
That was a cracking video, Mike. As to the panning; mine are not as good as that when I can see the engine. Yours was hidden behind a hill so I thought you did brilliantly. ★★★★★- Frank.
@TheDoodyman many thanks Frank, you're too kind. Having been to that spot before its been fairly easy to follow locos as there's normally plenty of exhaust; but not this time. regards Mike
@stephengthompson thanks Steve. With hindsight I should have expected a fast run and perhaps found a different location. As it was running late at KS I decided not try any further down.
No doubt we'll see each other again soon. regards Mike
a roaring beast, great video, marvelous scenery, and that's a great location, loved the way it swallowed all the photters cars and a DMU like a roaring pac-man...
@noelist thanks mate. I'm pretty sure no one was disappointed with the performance, although a bit of clag would have been nice -- I know, some folk are never happy, he he
Two great clips there Mike, not surprised you had panning problems, she was flying. I reckon it must be up there with the best runs of the Duke and Duchess with similar loads.
Majestic locomotive, Mike. Bravo for two superb shots. Thanks.

Looks like you had a job swinging the camera round quickly enough to keep up! i'm sure that's at least as fast as a Pendo.

@AndreiTupolev cheers AT. Yes, I failed miserably to keep pace with her. A cracking performance by crew and loco

Excellent footage. Word is that she beat Duke of Gloucester's record by 19 seconds.

@SPINNER673 many thanks. I wonder if we'd have seen an even better performance up Shap if there hadn't been a lineside fire risk.
