  • I have located DietOramy eating plan (you will find it on Google) - that diet regime is quite frankly spectacular, I am absolutely not starving myself and I'm continually reducing body fat - the key is in distinctive kinds of food stuff, just not in calorie consumption...

  • I used to be obese, but I lost around forty pounds in the span of around two years with minimal effort. Now that I just have to lose another ten or twenty pounds I work out more and it seems so much harder to lose that weight. -n-

  • Guy's... the best way to lose weight is to exercise for 30 mins... then do a 15 minute yoga. Eat a healthy breakfast.. a healthy lunch.. a lot of water.. and veggies.. and for dinner, have something very light.. and have your dinner at 7pm. and drink green tea! That's how i lost weight in a healthy way!

  • I'm 15 and 5'2. I weigh 120 lbs currently and I used to weigh 117. I want to lose 10 pounds but I don't get how I gained weight. I eat 2 meals a day, go on the treadmill (ok sometimes.. like 2/3 times a week) and I'm in taekwondo 2 times a week so it's intense training. I admit I don't drink enough water, but I don't eat any junk food. Any tips? :)

    I have done much research on diet and nutrition. I have been successful with weight lose through diet and exercise and no starvation.

  • @xic4loca  There are two "must read" books. First one titled: "Water, for health, for healing, for life: You're not sick, your thirsty." by: Dr. F. Batmanghelidi. The second book is: "Eat Right for your Blood Type." by: Peter J. D'Adamo and Catherine Whitney

    Both books are direct with no 'gimmicks.' I have followed what these two books offer. People who have not seen me in a year are startled how much I have changed and how I look much younger. Hope I help.

  • I weight about 133 and well people say Im skinny but honestly it doesnt seem like it because I have a little bit of manbreast. I keep thinking losing about 15 lbs would be good enough for me to feel satisfied. I HATE manboobs, I struggled all my life with them and I need to get rid of em. I been doing insanity for about 3 weeks now and so far I probably lost 2 lbs :(. Can someone give me any tips on how to lose those 15 lbs in about a month or so? Also tips on manbreast.

  • Someday your fat will be needed for sometype of fuel therefore keep getting fat. Let's keep getting fat, have the fat suckedout and put it into home heating. We all know how well fat burns so let's put it to good use. Like T-Rexs did millions of years ago.

  • I used to eat 3 cheeseburgers now I am stuffed after 1. Pizza 1 slice. I would eat a king size snikers now I eat one third. You only feel hungry because of your poor willpower.

  • Make a list of what your normal meals are and divide all of that food into 6 equal meals and eat it in a 12 hour period. You need an exemple. Let's say you eat 4 eggs in the morning, a large pizza for lunch and for dinner 4 bigmacs. Eat 2 eggs wait 2 hours and than eat the other 2. Eat 4 slices wait 2 hours and than eat the other 4 and so on.

  • I created my own diet while eating the same usual foods. I lost 40 lbs in 10 weeks. Actually was from July 19 - September 24 of 2010. Didn't skip meals and didn't exercise.i eat my favorite snikers bars and sometimes a few cookies. I will call this diet willpower.

  • Not at all. If you cut out 500 kcals a day and you multiply that by 7 days, that would cause you to lose 1 lb a week. HOWEVER, this level of kcal is EXTREMELY dangerous. Your body needs a certain amount of kcals in order to function. If you don't have that amount of kcals, you will be starving your body and killing yourself slowly. Please converse with a dietitian if you plan to "diet".

    Also, exercise can help get rid of kcals so restriction isn't the only way to lose weight. Hope this helps!

  • I forgot to say that the kcal requirement depends on how tall you are, your weight, and your activity level. For an adult, the average kcal is around 2000-2500 kcal which is why the food labels use 2000 kcal.

  • It's not an exact science but 3500 Calories is in one pound. So if you don't eat 3500 kcals, you will lose one pound. It is extremely dangerous to do it all at once. It is best if you do it gradually. So if you cut out 500 kcals in a day for 7 days a week (3500 kcals), you would lose a lb a week.

  • Right now your BMI is currently 19.7. That's within healthy BMI range (18.5-24.9). I would say that you would not need to lose weight. If you are a female, your body is basically going to have abdominal fat (biological reason to sustain pregnancy). That's why you almost never see females going around with six packs unless they exercise very very hard. If you would still like to lose weight, I would discuss this with a registered dietitian. They really know their stuff!

  • 1-2 lbs a week. It is a safe amount of weight to lose as well as easier to maintain. Please consult with a Registered Dietitian to see if the diet you are thinking about embarking on is safe.
