  • You are a smooth and relaxing-to-listen-to player...Very nice stuff...!!!

  • thanks very much, glad you like it!

  • Robert Burns also had a poem about a rose called "A rosebud by my early walk" I wonder who got the idea first:-) The melody is just as enchanting as the one you just played.

A rose-bud, by my early walk

    Down a corn-enclosed field-path,

So gently bent its thorny stalk,

    All on a dewy morning.

Ere twice the shades of dawn are fled,

In all its crimson glory spread

And drooping rich the dewy head,

    It scents the early morning.

  • thanks for watching, robert!

  • thanks very much, petri!

  • excellent!

  • thanks!

  • reminds me of banjos and smoky hills. romantic if not civil-war reminiscent...who knew Goethe could conjure such ancient americana in my silly little mind.

there's this old civil war song "johnny has gone for a soldier" always makes me feel that way...makes me cry every time i hear it for some mystical, unknown reason.

and as always, nobody's got a voice like yours. it's just the best thing i've heard.

  • thanks kindly for your impressions, i shurely wanted do try it in a little "folky" way...

  • That's lovely. What a great sound. Well done.

  • thank you, im glad you like it!

  • Well done.

Sounds terrific. It's got a real ukey sound for having steel strings. Do you know when it was made?

  • thanks!

seems to be pretty new. are still manufactured on request i think. its a little hard to play, frets are quite narrow, maybe ill try some nylon strings.
