I have a problem with my halo 3 where on the levels that have two skulls, it won't give me the achievement for one of the skulls, the same thing happens for a couple of the other skulls on levels that only have one skull. Does anyone know of this, it could be a problem with the disc, i did buy a pre-owned halo 3 but I'm not sure cause the disk looks scratch and mark free, Any help?

There is no problem, it is just that some skulls dont give you achievements. I think there are only 9 out of 13 skulls that actually give you achievements.

@nickvegge Gold skulls are the one's that give you achievements like Iron, Tough luck or Catch. Silver skulls don't give you achievement when you find them. Silver skulls include Blind, Grunt Birthday party etc.

I think having to make the skulls appear is bullshit. They should already be set somewhere on the map. A player who focuses on acheivments could waste a lot of time searching for something that isn't even present in the first place.

Has anyone else noticed that a lot of the events in Halo kind of sound like stuff found in the Bible? Like, the Forrunners indexed two of each(something like that) species in the Ark, and there's also the Flood, that devours every thing that breathes.
