Couldn't be further from the truth and at this point, the 251 and 265 are the only ones using this filter. It is true that alot of the trimmers and old blowers use the same little square filter(p/no13031054130) but this was a completely redesigned unit. Beware of flywheel key issues w/the 25.4cc engines. The 251 especially is known for just not starting all of a sudden, if your gas is freshand it doesn't fire up in 2-3 pulls, take it to your local warranty repair station.
U sound like mort from family guy,
are you a old school Jew?

why do you talk so much about it you didn't start it

The reason is that I don't have a gas can, or the gas to put in it. I'll make the cold start video when I have the gas.
I just got this Tuesday night, & I always read through the owner's manual before starting something new.
After paying $183 for this I want to know what I'm doing!

wow thats alot at homedepot its only $169

I did get it from Home Depot for $169. It was actually $185.47 after California's 9.75% tax rate.
My choices were an Echo GT-225C gas string trimmer for $179, or the Echo PB 251 for $169. Obviously I went with the blower.
