  • very good.

but where're two of the greatest Mozart arias Figaro's "Sull' aria" and "Porgi amor"?

  • Bravo, come sempre!

  • Lucia Popp I would replace throu Roberta Peters! More clear and better technique.

  • With all respect you brka our nerves with Diana Damrau. She a great soprano but not the only one!

  • Well done with this video

  • @6:30 sounds like she farts when it transitions to bartoli from schwarzkopf lol

  • lets see ke$ha beat that

  • I can tell you like the dramatic parts! Solid choices, all; one could dispute particular choices endlessly, as there is so much to choose from; but all well worth a listen.

  • for me, Queen of the Night's aria from Mozart's The Magic Flute the best is sung by Diana Damrau. a great coloraturas and powerfull role.

  • @MrAndresaputra I totally agree. No one sings it like Damrau!! I get chills down my spine every single time I listen to her sing it. Every Mozart piece I've heard her perform has so much feeling behind it.

  • whats the aria at 7 37?

  • @JamesBAMF85

Queen of the Night's aria from Mozart's The Magic Flute

Always been, for me, the best piece ever written for coloratura singing (using the voice as an instrument -- my definition).

  • Para mim, o compositor dos compositores.

  • Beautiful. Of course they are not all seven my favourites. The "real" Queen of the night , for me, is Cristina Deutekom. She puts more agression in her voice then Lucia Popp does.

  • @joetjoep95 - Deutekom - diva of underwater singing.

  • @joetjoep95 Luciana Serra is the real queen:-)

  • Excellent

  • every time i hear this kind of classic music.. I keep thinking of Valkyaries o3o

  • Very interesting selection. A pleasure to listen too!. Thanks for posting

  • Pauline Tinsley is SO much better in this aria!!!

  • Nice Song Whats The Name ...?

  • Great Work! Mozart was definately touched by God. No music is as pure as Mozart's

  • Wonderful! But, you are missing probably one of the greatest Mozart aria's/roles/singers...Figaro's Dove Sono, sung by the marvelous Kiri te Kanawa!

  • nice work , wonderful

  • The Magic Flute ( Die Zauberflöte) Der Hölle Rache kocht in meinem Herzen

I think the best version is

Edita Gruberova (1981) with the Bavarian Radio Symphony Orchestra conducted by Bernard Haitink

    Really funny

    Florence Foster Jenkins !!!!

By the way, really great work !!!

    Thank´s a lot, Elias !!!

  • What about Diana Damrau????

  • Well, I love this!!! Every single singer and aria is great!, but some are not the best arias of the operas in my opinion :))

  • Great arias...These aren't my favorite singers. I don't like Frittoli as Elettra- Martinpelto or Vaness are much better... Auger is great but Christine Schafer is a better costanze... I don't like Moffo as Susanna- Ciofi is better... Schwarzkopf was never a great opera singer to me- her lieder was better... bartoli is perfect for Fiordiligi... I like Popp as the queen but Studer was better.. and you know how I feel about Gens' Non piu di fiori already :)

  • @hillevifan

Povero Elias, non ne ha indovinata una...

    Seriamente, grazie Elias.

  • That is great work, Elias. Wonderful arias, terrific singers! What more could one ask for?
