@temickabpart 2: ok, so then she gave me this REALLY godly recommendation, use SELSUN BLUE ( medicated or the Aloe Vera) leave on face and back of ears for about 3 minutes (morning and night)& when u take a bath, leave on hair for 10 minutes. First 2 weeks do this for 2-3 days, then gradually increase. From 3 mins to 5-10 minutes, the hair will always be 10 minutes. This has helped me. i use to use CLODERM. (topical cream, for 10 days only) but try them remedies!! Successful story here. :D
@DanielAvilaAGT Well i have sulfur 8 anti dandruff shampoo at the moment and OMG it treated my hair so BAD... And the only other shampoo i have at the moment is pantene pro V ice shine shampoo... I dont have any other that i can use right now. And i have this scalp product called HASK.. works pretty good but its soo water based i only use it while my hair is wet.. putting it on dry hair i dont like because my hair will srhink. BUt i will try selsum blue when i get the money
i have seborrheic dematitis and i done a video of this on my page im seeing a skin dr and hopefully this medicine she gave me will help me, its starting to smell like medicine and feels so soft too my whole body where im effected im peeling too
I have it too, it's the worst! I use a steroid ointment which thins the skin and is bad long term but nothing else the dermo gave me worked at all :( thankfully I've been trying some natural alternatives which has meant I use the ointment 70% less frequently than I used to... I wish I didnt at all though!
Glad I found this. I believe I have seborrhea and I've been looking for a natural cure for a while. You are so right about the sulfate/medicated shampoos-my relief only lasted a few weeks and then the scaling and itching returned. Thanks for taking the time to make this video. I will watch more of your vids to see your findings.
i have a real bad seborrheic dermatitis...I would like to know do you mix all these together at once? I understood the part with the goat milk to use it as shampoo...but how about the other ingredients?
I'm sorry but you have the wrong idea. The ingredients listed in this video I used to make a SD shampoo bar for the hair and body. You can not take the ingredients I mentioned and just start putting them all over your head. The milk would go bad and be stuck in your head. I did this video as a prelude to my handmilled SD bar that I make and sell on Etsy. I wanted to tell people what I was going to be using.
I use to have Seborric dermatitis on my face.. now its 90% gone! For those whom have it, USE COLD MILK and COTTON BALLS and pour milk in a small cup and dip the cotton balls and dabb all over you face with it and it will cool down and then turn to a very very thin light powder tipe texture to it and that calms it down and that how i got rid of it, i had it for 3 years and finally gave up and used milk on my face and that has cured it
MIlk is vital for the skin & teeth and bones too as u know
when u say milk, do you mean cows milk? thanks, I'm sick of steroid creams! I'm also using Egyptian Magic about 2 a week and it helps a lot, but I still need me ointments even though I use'em a lot less :)
Yes, COW milk, as long as its the one with the RED cap. Do it near the night time, and by when you wake up, its calmed and then just wash your face if you want.
But LISTERINE (mouth wash) is amaizing for when you have dandruff or whatever, google it, thats how i know...
its an old remedy.. there are remedys outthere that can really cure things
@temickabyou know what, i use to have it just like you, and in back of my ea rs it would sting and hurt when i would come out of the shower etc.. And use to be thick hard on my scalp, few years ago(2-3) and so i went to this very legit dermatologist in Orange county, California. And this was during my high school years, so you know how the endurement must have been, so anyways, i just take MINOCYLINE (it's just 5$ with insurance) and it helps for the inflammation of any sort, visible or not)
@temickab Your also going to need a face moisturizing cream. I use CETAPHIL . Great for once a day. Use after you do the SELSUN BLUE on your face. I use it now for 10 minutes, and it's super smooth. (my face). COLD MILK is great for when you flare up. I don't do it anymore tho... Occasionally dabbing Listering mouth wash(the green one) with cotton cloths is good too! Now all these things I've mention to you, have a common ingredient, FYI listering use to be marketed as a foot fungus remedy
@DanielAvilaAGT I cant find the comment you mentioned about Sulfate shampoos... BUt thats all i have at the moment to wash my hair... I dont have the money to buy any othe shampoos right now... And i use this product called HASK but the only problem with that is that i put it on my scalp when the hair is wet because putting it on dry scalp when hair is dry it will srhink my hair. THe product works but i suppose to use it 2 to 3 times a week but its so watter based it will shrink my hair
for me the , the easiest way to was the use of hydrocortizone an mine was on my hairline, eye brows, nose and ears. It cleared it up and i had Seborrheic dermatitis for about 4 years. Head and shoulder only makes it worse.
Thanks for making this vid. I have sd and this was very informative. i hope all goes well with the soap you are making bc i would sure love to try it.
Thanks for this video, I currently use dr prescribed products (loprox/clobex) but I've moved to using aloe gel when I get caught with a flakey scalp unaware. Works good and its not oily.
I want to get a water softner one day definitely, and I also notice I have to dry my hair in heat -blow or bonnet dryer. I can't let it air dry because of the yeast.
Hi there, Are you selling this soap yet??? I did mail you a short while ago, i am from the uk and in desperate need of some help i have just been prescribed hydrocortisone cream for my seb derm on my face but it is not helping.
What do you think i can use to wash my face in im using dove soap at the moment.
Melanie I sent you a message back stating that I was not selling the soap as of yet. I do however require 2 female testers, as you are in the UK I have to find out how much it is going to cost me to send you a bar to test. Internaional shipping is not cheap as American money is almost worthless lol. Let me know if you want to test it. There are stipulations to be covered.
Thanks for the info, i'd definitely like to try your soap if that ever arises as a possibility. I've been suffering from Seborrheic Dermatitis for a long time now and I use many combinations of things, including Elidel (Prescription medication), Vasoline, Coconut Oil (Works quite well), regular lotion and Selsun Blue Medicated.
My condition never goes away but i'm pretty sure it's due to the hard well water we use.
Anyway, sorry to ramble. Thanks for the info, subscribed.
I will keep you aware of sales when I get info from my male testers. If you are female I would like you to test the soap, but you will need to get some info from me and the stipulations of being a tester for me. send me a private message ok :o)
Very informative. I will try to stay away from sulfate hair cleansers (shampoo). I use tea tree oil and take the vitamin E. I pray this helps. Thank you for the information.
i have this problem and it got better and almost disappeared when i started using Africa's Best organic olive oil shampoo. my scalp became a little pink and tender for a while, but that went away too. for the upper part of my forehead i started using Nature's Bounty vitamin E cream only at night and that cleared right up. there's something to be said for olive oil. i was amazed.
Olive oil is Italian gold :o) lol I do love it as well, and I hope that people like you and some others that have contacted me can get some relief from this soap. If nothing else it will feel darned good lol
Two of my kiddos and their dad has ezcema. Some things that have helped: taking EFAs, Fish Oil and Flax seed Oil, using Evening Primrose Oil on the itchy areas (clean skin), using a homemade salve that has Neem Oil, Vitamin E Oil, Coconut Oil, Burdock Root, Calendula flowers and other skin helpers and anti-bacterial, anti-fungal, anti-viral things in it.
ive heard good things about the calendula, seeped in olive oil i think i'll try this too . thank you for the info im definately gonna give these a try . what works best for your family ?
thats right :-) The Flax ,evening primrose are LARGE components to fixing the outbreak. Fish opil not so much though, it is low in Omega-3 fatty acids and deficient in linolineic acids. You are on the right trck though :-)
Ah, that's good to know about the Fish Oil being on the low end. Thank you for the breakdown. We don't take much of it. But, I think all those together have helped with the skin stuff as well as asthma and allergies. Big ole house of aliments here, lol.
NP :o) The fish oil is good for hair and bowels though :-) I have a house of ailments too, my husband has crohn's disease, my son has multiple health issues, my daughter has a whole in her heart and contact with metals (gold, stainless steel copper) problems lol And I am Mother and doctor here lol
where is the test video for your S.D soap ?
