cats also rely on nose and whiskers to navigate, try leaving the cat there in another 3 minutes to see if he's still interested. More importantly from 0:35 to 0:45 he was behind the screen so 1/how did he see the ball and 2/why did he look around so much if the phone was all there was in the room ?
