Emergency shelters can be made by the use of geopolymers by mixing 5% to 10% geopolymer binders with 90% to 95% soil that has been cleansed, baked, and washed free of any organic matter and lossened in a mixer and screened. Then the geopolymers, 5% to 10%, are added. Geopolymer concrete simultaneously insulates against temperature extremes and resists temperature extremes, the heat of a blow torch won't pass through one side to the other side. Saves a lot in energy costs & in maintenance costs.
