  • Simply MAGICAL!!!!!!!!!

  • Uout of this world. Music and mathematicsa are intwined yet my violin teacher at my age of 12 was boring and only interested in teaching his colleaque tamil teacher's daughter who went on to be a violin exponent.

  • excellent

  • Gokulram Arunasalam

The legendary Kunnakudi Vaidyanathan! What humility and grace as well... Sheer brilliance, genius and service to humanity.

  • Awesome KV :-)

  • it's a shower of devine blessing...look at the trance and focus...and a scholarly rendition...

  • does anyone know where i can download his recorded version of this song?

  • See the experience and expression of music in each old Grey Hair Men. Great!

  • What a great thing to see all of the older players.....classic

  • enthvadae ith......

  • supermelody

  • Deadly dress!

  • tears roll on my eyes!!!!!!!!!! A legend, really a legend

  • he is god of violin....belive it or not...i cried after listenin to tis!!!!

  • @KARTHIKJagalur : I believe you, cuz i did too... :)

  • If you look at all Kunnakudi's concert, one thing strikes very clearly. He always performs with his own group of people and goes with FULL BENCH. He pays them all and they all lived with Kunnakudi till his death as a family. You would not have seen Kunnakudi with popular accompanying artists after 1975, except the challenges with great tavil vidwan "Valaiapatti Subramanian".

  • they are an incredible team

  • beauty of his violin is that it touches my nerves all the time and give me goose hairs....... great man...sadly he passed away but his performances still live among us;

  • genius !!!! i consider myself lucky that we at least get to listen to his composition and also feel very sad that he left us......

  • Violin dances in his hands. The soul rejoices and

one goes into trance:)- Lord Muruga will come down to listen to his songs.

KV will always be remembered by the sound of his music. We are still blessed to hear his music.

    Simply awesome !!

  • As he begins to play, I love the way he glances up directly at you, as if inviting you to join him in this revelation...

  • kunnakudi we can't miss

super person i have evrithing about he cds videos...

  • WHAT A MAN!! WHAT A TALENT!!

  • KV was a greatest artist of his kind, we will miss him for sure. But bharatmata is so great, it has given young artists like Ganesh n kumaresh, L Subramaniam and his young son Ambi and many more. artists are like gods of nadha..keep coming with the blessings.

  • In talent he is only matched by another genius Mysore T Chowdaih..Indeed it is a great loss to the field of carnatic music..Vacuum created by his death will be felt very long.

  • His violin magic was matched by his humility. What a truly great genius! He had this remarkable ability to stop a song at a random point, to greet (on violin, say by playing "vaanga, vaanga") a friend who just walked in and then resume from the same precise point! Amazing human CD!

  • RIP sir!

  • I don't see any lack of grace. Kunrakudi Vaidyanathan has done this piece very well with great devotion to Muruga.

  • I never heard this guy's renditions before. This is the first. And I feel it has grace, continuity and melody. He rocks!

  • Dr.kunnakudi's pughazh vazhga...

  • mindboggling, simply superb........we all knew he was the greatest..........I wonder if we will ever come across another giant like him ........GOD bless his soul

  • Dr KV is the greatest genius in violin, I have lot of respect on him. It is a great loss to the music lovers, especially Violin. The violin maestro gone. I really saddened to his death.

    Vellu Singapore

  • He is my alltime favorite Carnatic violinist!!!!, Kunnakudi = Legend

  • Would India or world would ever see a genius like him? He is a legend. Sir, you would always remain in our mind. Any violin strings would remind you..

  • this man is a genius!!! And i love playing this song on my violin... if only i can play like him *sigh*

  • Pls check my page for this song and meaning of this song.

  • Thank you very much for posting.I am very grateful to listen to such beautiful music.

  • whoa... brilliance.

    Krishna

  • super so u did record this ....

did u record surya prakash one ?

  • He is an eccentric (observe his wild shirt) genius, and somewhat unpredictable. I recorded this number because it can be cross-referenced to Aruna Sairam who sang the same song earlier in the season.

  • @carnaticopia aruna is amazing and kunnakudi is awesome! whoever u are, u are sure doing a service to people like me, waking up a bit late to carnatic music
