Interesting. The Stardrifts were AKA The Planets, or The Concords were AKA The Planets? I have Mr. Moon on Roulette and I think it's a great record. Both sides of this are fantastic as well
hello in there pjdoo wop..It was 3-members of the concords aka the planets... that recored mr.moon&you are my sunshine...mike lewis,sal tepedino and me...the songs were recorded at stea-phillips studio n.yc. in december of 1963..
the stardrifts recorded only one time i.e.professionally..they recorded 2-cuts june 1963 at bell sound studio n.y.c.a george goldner production..."an eye for an eye"and the b-side "she's gone"written by the group.the stardrifts split up in late 1963..

pj doo wop...yes,it was on goldisc...it's very hard to find on 45rpm...the one's that i've had in the past were dj copies.

Very cool. I've heard "An Eye For An Eye" but I haven't found the 45 yet. That's on Goldisc if I'm not mistaken.. Good record

It was written by robert spencer of the cadillacs.And he helped me with the lead vocal at rehearsal before we recorded it...march 13th 1964.
