What a ridiculous statement: "Oil shortage is a manufactured crisis." You are obviously wrong, simple logic tells us that. The earth has finite mass, and oil is a finite fraction of that mass. It doesn't renew itself magically. We can "economically" get roughly as much oil out of the ground as we have already used. Problem is that we use a LOT more oil today than we did just 10 years ago. We DOUBLE our usage in just 10 - 20 years (price decides). That means we will use the rest within 20 years.

Well Matt Simmons is a hero that no-one listened to ( except a few ) also Dr. Steven Greer said at the National Press Club in washington on May 9th 2001, watch out for the impending energy crisis which is sure to hit us in the coming decade.
