  • Hey Patrick, I did not know you could play bagpipes too!

  • nice

does anyone know how the second tune is called ?

  • i love it when folks first try my setup. People aren't quite used to the amount of air needed to get the chanter to to make a sound.

I loved this, that patrick fellow can play the hell out of a banjo though.

  • Aren't they hard to play? I think so. lol My dad has been in Scotland and I sing amazing grace to them but, your as good as me I must say! lol I love you on the banjo. ta he! ty!

  • Aaaah The skirl of the pipes...nothing comes close

  • I played the french bagpipe (ornemuse) for a weekend and I can tell you, it's very hard. The no.1 mistake ppl make is trying to create a sound with their breath, which is impossible. The hardest part in the whole playing is to keep a certain rythm in blowing while keeping enough pressure and playing the tunes at the same time. Bagpipes are great, though I don't like the Scottish version (also not the official version, like some ppl think)

  • The huffing, puffing and squeeking in the beginning was hillarious! Good thing Dick showed how to do it right. Bagpipe really is a remarkable instrument. It cannot leave anyone unaffected.

  • looked like the children and their teacher didn't have an immediate love of the pipes. very interesting. aloha :) ray

  • More retreat footage!

  • yeah! - i second that!

  • Go Patrick the piper!
