Please, help us to arrive at a final decision, iron-out the details of

where we will go, the number of our crowd, the depth of our purses.

Like I said, the time draws near, we all need common closure. Let

me know how you feel, the clock is ticking...

Feelo free to pass along to others withinYar's circle of friends, the hope to see them on April first...

  • @LongIslandEddie My family will go to NY on April 1st...give us the details. There is 2 adults and 2 children in our family. Not familiar with restaurants or catering halls in NY anymore so can't give any ideas

  • @charzimm6 There hasn't been too great a response yet from associate members of Yar's circle of friends for me to determine where we will meet. I am a Long Islander and have not worked in the city since I left Yar's office in March of 1985 when his office was closed, I am totally unfamiliar with suggesting a place where we can meet. Additionally, I am still unaware of how many people will be able to attend. I'll gladly pass along details as they are developed, but for now I'm still in the dark.

  • @charzimm6- Also, use my email to correspond with me, it is easier and I will include you in a mass-mailing, once the details are arrived at. Thank you Charlene... (LongislandEddie@gmail.com)

  • I'm compiling a great collection of photographs, saved from those moments that we have spent with Yar, and have to offer my thanks for both your filing system and the welcome way that you have kept in communication with me. As time goes on, I'm sure that other associates will receive news of his passing, he knew so many people. I hope to finalize a fitting slideshow, an internet memorial to him, the guy who never considered the computer to be anything beyond a contrivance. Cull your archives!

  • Note to the friends: I'm still encouraging you to dig through old files and send along any memorabilia that you would be willing to contribute toward my effort to bring as many of the moments that were shared by him, with others, he invested a lot of time and love in those whom he walked through life with. Please, pass along the sad news of his departure, to whomever else that you may know of who shared his company in some fashion or other. His death has touched many people, his life? Even more!
