Yes, it did have bounce. I am just learning how to spin and have a hard time keeping a long draw going. Suggestions are welcome!

I've never seen such a short draw, right at the orifice. Did the resulting yarn have any bounce to it at all?

You can measure the amount of fiber on a small kitchen scale, then blend them several times to make sure the fiber is as evenly distributed as possible. I use hand carders to blend my fiber and put the fibers side by side so they are evenly distributed on the carder. As you card, they will blend.
