Soccer is short for "association football" . It is an English (as in the country) term.

so that in localities that have other "football" codes can distinguish it from other non "association" codes. So, there is no problem calling it soccer, there is a hundred year history behind this usage. Dont assume cause u dont use it it must b wrong.

it was a good test against a solid European side. Korea didn't create enough chances and Denmark's finishing was poor.

Boring match overall. Pitch conditions not good at all.

and yes, int'l play is the same story for all teams, Danish players don't practice together any more than other teams. but Denmark just got off playing qualifiers and many friendlies in relatively recent past. Korea qualified several months ago back in the summer and this is really the first meaningful friendly match since the qualifiers. and of course, yes, Denmark was clearly the better team coming into this game, we all knew that, so just let the korean fans be positive about this

but i think Korea played as well as they could in this game. i thought they could've been more aggressive attacking but this was also just a friendly match. all these players play for other teams and they don't have time to practice together. and plus this is like the first european away match in a really long time for Korea. I'd say Denmark played slightly better, but Korea can play much much better if they prepare like this until WC10

i guess... coach huh was pretty good and smart enough you know... they letting young player to got experience of facing europe player... but still i'm dissapointed.. cause korea couldn't win this match.. and my fave player ki sung-yong didn't give his best.. but i realize that korea are getting better and better...

well, this is a friendly match. A good coach would take an advantage of it and let as many players play as possible. The Korean coach was smart that he took out JS Park early, because he's still recovering from his injury. He also did a good job of letting many players get experience with a good European team. It is a friendly match..it would be great if Korea wins, but it's not a must-win situation. Korean team is pretty young and players need more experience in these big games before WC starts
