WOW! Fuckin A man! That's amazing you and ZakAvery made a beer with them. I bet that was so amazing. I think BrewDog is one of the top craft brewer in the world that makes a solid lager, along with a very few in America. It must've been amazing to make this with BrewDog.
At first I thought that the name of the beer was "a very brown dredge" and that it was some sort of a pun (would be a very Brewdoggy thing right?) .. then I started thinking that "a very brown dredge" might just be gibberish in English.. Now I'm just confused :P
Could someone shed some light on that for me?
anyway, Congratulations on havin' your own beer. :)
ps. I'm Norwegian, so please don't hate me if my English isn't quite as good as the queens ;)
That's so awesome you got a beer named after you! How much "brewing" did you guys actually do? Were you guys actually dumping in the grains and all that or did you just come up with the general recipe?
Was this a one-time-only brewing or will it be continually brewed?
@ChadzBeerReviews We did quite a lot of the brewing - it was exhausting! From lugging the malt to mashing in, digging out the kettle and adding the hops. We certainly weren't just spectators with notebooks.
I think it's a one-off, but who knows, they might want to try it again! And I wish I got a percentage of the profits (not that it'll make much money - we used a LOT of malt and hops in that and took up tank space for two months!)
