I love both adam and kris because they both have different styles that i like. adam is more rock and he makes the kind of rock-pop music that i really enjoy. kris is more pop and he makes great, heartfelt songs that he writes himself. so i get best of both worlds :) and if you don't like a particular music genre, don't bash kris or adam just because the sing that music, they both work very hard and will have successful carrers :D <3

All throuh out Idol last year, I was a hude Adam fan. I was devestated when he lost. Come to think of it, I'm kind of ashamed. I mean Adam definetly has a talent, but Kris is a great guy with an amazing voice. I think the only reason why people still like Adam because he has a crazy and wild personality. Kris is a better guy and has a great voice, better than Adams. Kris is just all around better. If you disagree, please don't bother to argue with me. :)

i think why kris won was becuz every week he does an amazing performance and he can really twist songs and make it his own (like heartless) but adam even though he has a wider vocal range, he was always the one who everyone thought was going to win.. its always like that in american idol. the runner up guy who you never saw winning, wins

I love both Kris Allen and Adam Lambert. At first I wanted Adam to win, but then I heard more of Kris' singing, and thought that both of them were rightful winners.
But Kris is great. And unfortunately this episode of Ellen didn't air here in Norway. It was the only one that didn't :/

I happen to be over 50 and all of my family, including my gay son voted for Kris because they felt his performances were honest and heartfelt. Adam is a 'seasoned' performer but doesn't feel the music. It's all about what he can do on stage to 'perform'. That's not real for me and just plain fake and boring. @greentigereye people by Adams album because they are buying the product of Adam Lambert, and not because they actually like his music. Lambert can even get a song to chart. Hes had 3 singles already and can even get something played on the radio. Kris Allen has had 1 single and its climbing up several charts. It is a top 40 hit, sitting at #32 right now. People not familiar with the show actually like Allens music, but Lambert is having a rough time reaching none american idol fans.
