Sakina wont fall in love with Raj, because it wasn't wrote like that in the story of Fedor Dostoyevski named WHITE NIGHTS. The principal actress stayed with the guy she was waiting for. If you want to see another version of this film you should see the film of Le Notti Bianche with Marcello Mastroianni.
I think any film that is by Sanjay Leela Bhansali is wonderful! He has so much understanding of human emotion, male and female. I would love to see Salman Khan in more roles like this, but more than just the brief cameo as in this film; but of what little there was, it was really wonderful!
