  • How does he wipe his ass?...

  • 1:26 Josh Koscheck.

  • @nardo363636 Liddel next to him.

  • i dont get why they use those suits

    why dont they bench raw?

im not saying i could get that weight but how could you say you lifted 1000 pounds if the shirt benched 300 of it?

    he´s still strong though

  • Is that Chuck Lidell at 1:27?

  • @jmmw5283 HOLY SHIT IT IS!

  • Yeah well some kid in mapleton utah went and reverse curled that before the show 10 reps then carried it home like a dumbells

  • My goodness. That weight would break anyone else in TWO!!! He must be PURE MUSCLE!!! WHAT A MACHINE!!!

  • i dont care if he puts neddles up his ass thats a thousand pounds. very impressive. he did do this lift later on

  • how come every time someone is a world champion at something all the wannabes and haters have to start screaming drugs! steriods! is it that hard to believe that someone can work their ass off and achieve incredible things. just because YOU are lazy and dont have the mental strength to succeed doesnt mean everyone else doesnt.

  • exactly, take the avg person give them steroids, sorry they are not benching 1000 pounds, theres some large factor people are missing here. its a combination of the correct diet, good genetics, mind power, will power, knowledge, good form, determination, and the willingness to still compete after dropping 1,000 pounds of weight on your chest.

  • good point.

  • @NOCTURNOzombie Mate, no-one is denying he works really hard but he is not natural!

  • @NOCTURNOzombie I enjoy your comment but legitimatly and realistically anything over 1000 pounds is impossible without steriods. I do not think that it is cheating though because they are working to be the strongest humans in the world.

  • @Rodchesterlol really? why not? any proof that someone cant bench that without steriods?

  • @NOCTURNOzombie lmao you think this guy isnt on every drug imaginable?

  • @detahdomo can prove he is,??? or we are just supposed to take your word for it.

  • @detahdomo He probably is on steroids, in fact every top athlete on the planet has probably taken gear at some point to get them where they are, but that doesn't mean they don't work hard or concentrate on their diet, because steroids only increase your testosterone levels, they don't turn you into a god just by popping a few pills and not working out. What really grates me though, is idiots like you who think they just know best without any real research, So he took steroids.....who cares?

  • @jalidav1 i do know best

  • @detahdomo Oh yeah, i didnt think of it like that

  • thank you very much :-)

  • who knows the name of the song playing in this video? it sounds cool. thaks for answers.

  • you got another thing coming- judas priest

  • hows he whipe his ass?

  • with small 200lbs men.

  • Comment removed

  • damn that looks like it hurt

  • This guy is a pussie

  • What I dont understand is, this guy got 1010 right? How the hell do you go up 5 pounds and get completely F'n crushed. Like if i can get 300 on the axle. 305 is not going to complete destroy me, might not get it, but, i cant understand it. but im not a powerlifter so there might be more to it than i know. probably is.

  • This guy is a JOKE. Why was this clown attempting over a grand when the record is just over 700? Because he is relying on that stupid and ridiculous looking shirt to leverage an additional 300 over what the human body can achieve.

This is NOT powerlifting at all. This is a circus sideshow.

  • I heard Triple H walked over and curled that after the show.

  • Why was Triple H dressed for the disco era?

  • haha, HHH is a child of the disco era, he is that old

  • this guy did do 1010 pounds so give him a break, very strong man

  • murderface0666 - the 'roids did about 200, the shirt did about 200, he did the rest.

Put a forklift under that bar and they can really lift some poundage.

  • Strong yes. 1010? Not even close.

  • not in a pressing mood hey

    he just shat himself

  • he to lazy to do cardio he looks like he would be big if he actually lost weight

  • >"looks like he would be big"

yea hes not big right now or anything.

    faggot

  • of course he would be big you fucking idiot, he's benching +1000 lbs.

  • yeah but if you saw him in the street you would think what a fat fuck

  • It's true tigerman, reality does bother you. Rychlak does not bench a grand. He is benching 1015 including what the shirt gives him which would be over 300.

  • How the fuck does reality bother me?

Jesus Christ, excuse me. Sorry but when I see someone put up a reasonable attempt at an insanely high bench press, I think "Holy Shit, that's crazy".

    Equipment or not

  • jacked.. not so much, strong.. possibly so, at least bench wise

  • failure or not, he's probably the most jacked man who's ever lived.

  • wow seriously what a wimp

  • you try doing 1015 lbs

  • amen

  • wow he can't even do it. you call does he think he's stong or something

  • Man, I hate Mike Adamle

  • He misgrips..

    Watch HIS right hand.

  • Nope, the shirt threw him out of line.

Not wanting to start an argument, but have you used a shirt? It puts you in a certain line and when it's been modified that much, once you go out of that line there's not much going back.

  • yamanmustafa "the shirt threw him out of line."

Wouldn't be an issue if he wasn't using a shirt.

Bunch of pointless, phony b.s. I can't bench 1000lbs and neither can this clown.

  • Yeah your a big talker, whats your actual bench press raw? I gurantee this guys is 4 times that.

  • tigerman963 - apparently reality bothers you. Take away the shirt and the 'roids for a year and he's just another reasonably strong guy at the gym.

  • How can you even call him "reasonably strong".

The man has broken records, that means that he can do more than the others, shirt or no shirt.

  • If you find him so impressive - okay make him utterly drug free for a year and see what he can do without the shirt. See if he can even match the drug free shirt free record.

  • Most "drug-free" records aren't really drug free. If you want to be at the top, you have to use. With that being said, I think Henderson is a natural freak. He's the only one that knows what true natural strength is.

  • Then let's see him do a raw bench for a change in his career. He is a clown that cheapens the sport.

  • ob wohl jemand irgendwann 500kg schafft ?? alter ne halbe tonne auf der bank ..für mich unvorstellbar

  • is that josh koscheck and chuck lidell @ 1:28? i think it is anyone know?

  • yeah that is them if u pause it u can tell!

  • haha the dumbass that was supposed to take it away, is like, "is he going to try it again?" BWAHAHAHA no you dumbfuck he just 1000lb crush his liver you moron

  • Is it just me or is there a gross lack of safety equipment in powerlifting?

  • No, just a grossly dangerous lift. Squat and DL are mostly safe, if they replaced the bench press with the standing press, it'd be a MUCH safer sport. You can perform a standing press safely without a spotter, even if you drop it.

  • They could even have side catcher bars on the bench that would be high enough to keep the bar from killing the bencher (specially designed for powerlifters) but not to high to compromise the legitimacy of the lift.

I think the squat is a little dangerous in powerlifting too

  • Yeah, I've thought of that idea about the bench. The squat isn't inherently dangerous, but the shouldn't use a monolift, the walkout should be considered part of the lift..

  • I'd still like to see the side bars on the squat, there are pros and cons to having the monolift when it comes to safety

  • But, most PLers don't bench close to 1000 lbs, and only really have to worry about killing themselves if they completely drop the bar...

  • hahaha is he going to try it again? fuck that guy, thank god he doesnt have the record anymore.

  • to: footballbenchkill - Good thing you will never have a record lol

  • fucking hell that's every lifter's nightmare

  • he's just had 1000 lbs crush his spleen.....triple H is priceless.

  • Guys new to watching this stuff and wondering if some1 can tell me specifically what 'raw' benching is?

  • the shirt he has on is a bench shirt so he is equiped lifting raw lifting is without the shirt or any suit

  • it was the hat that did him in!

  • let's just end this *hit and agree to disagree. Gene is an alright guy and I'm not completely discounting these huge lifts, I just have an issue with the method of their execution.

  • josh koshchek was there, bottom right, 1:26 seconds in

  • and chick liddel to his left

  • Awesome control.

  • hahahahah that bar falling on him. fat ass

  • my contention is that just BECAUSE there is a "federation" that allows for it, does not increase or decrease its legitamacy. That's akin to arguing that becuase germany used to allow cars to gale down the autobahn at 190 mph that it was safe or appropriate. Or that because slavery USED to be legal in this country it was ok becuase there were other countries that disallowed it.

  • I of course DO keep that in mind, hence my earlier comment regarding him being a strong bencher. my only issue again is in regards to the shirt, and the logic behind using one.

  • The logic is, thats the rules in the sport he competes in. Why do you have an issue with it? If you don't appreciate equipped powerlifting competition, there are other feds that cater to your choice.

By the same token, we could have the same issue with boxing, since they use gloves, and don't allow you to beat an opponent who is on the floor. Hey, thats Queensbury rules though.

  • the notion that he's "still benching" even though he's wearing a device that affords him to apply more weight is absurd. with that logic, i guess guys who use anabolic steroids to increase their strength are "still benching" too, so what's the big deal? (yes i know their use is rampant in ALL atthletics). If your shoulders would explode without the shirt, maybe that's teeling you something about the weight you're capable of pressing without it?

  • your comparison of shirted benching to steroid use would only make sense if he was benching with a shirt in a raw meet. if someone wants to use roids by all means go for it, just don't lift in a tested fed with natural guys. but seeing as you compared shirts to slavery, 190 mph speed limits, and steroids, you obviously have no common sense.

  • They're called analogies, retard- try looking up the word. Eihter way, it's not YOU executing the lift (at least 100% of it neway) it's your drugs or equipment. Make the connection, pea-brain.

  • regardless of my diction, you compared shirted benching to slavery.....and I'm the pea-brain. but whatever this is a never-ending argument, and it's obvious that you don't powerlift, or you wouldn't give a fuck. my only question is why do you get off starting arguments with people you'll never have to answer to, about activities you don't partake in. not saying you don't work out, but no one truly involved in the sport acts like you do. go fuck with some emo kids or something.

  • of course it can't end, u insist on continuing to embarrass yourself. Now,with your shock value accusation over my slavery comment (which is still completely valid, btw). Keep telling yourself that behaviors or "regulations" are completely viable because they're accepted within a narrow group. Finally, I've done plenty of "power lifting", including near 400 lb benches and 500lb deads (at about 210)...all involving nothing more than a weight belt. power this.

  • there are a considerable amount of men who can press 600+ RAW that dont compete in shirted "contests" because they are cognizant of how gay it is. you can be guaranteed if they did they would smash his record within months.

no reasonable person would dispute the fact that the guy is strong bencher...it is the fact that he utilizes this shirt which adds minimally 300 lbs (he's never hit 700 raw to my knowledge) to his total that makes it gay.

  • That doesn't mean he can't hit 700+ raw. He probably just doesn't train raw, so he doesn't know how much he can lift raw. Also, you have to understand that it's still a shirt not a crane. I know it helps stabalize the weight, helps your muscles contract much more easily and all of that. However, still keep that in mind.

  • This guy holds the world record. Funny how no1 else who also wears a shirt can bench this kinda weight, why?? cause this guy is the STRONGEST!

  • hey genius-

it has nothing to do with "making myself fell better" you brainless turd.

the notion of using a shirt (or anything else for that matter) to press a weight you cant even come near without it is so fu*cking absurd that only dolts like you fail to comprehend the contradiction.

lets just give all of the "top" long distance runners bicycles while we're at it.

    idiot.

  • actually the biggest benefit of a shirt is to prevent injury. it puts a lot of stress on your joints lifting heavy weights consistantly enough to get that big. although a shirt's main function is to add weight, it also prevents blowing out shoulders and such. if you gave a runner a bike, he wouldnt be running, give a bencher a shirt, he's still benching. chill out and give the man some props, there's no reason for you to be pissed off about an elite lifter going big with a shirt.

  • all this bitching about a bench shirt and all that shit.....come on this guy can fuckin lift over 1000 pounds and have it come crashing down on himself and be perfictly fine....that would kill any of you mother fuckers talking shit

  • a bench press shirt raises what you can lift significantly.. the world record holder for raw bench press benches 715 lbs without the shirt, but 1000 something with it..

  • triple h's explanation as to why he can't continue is absolutely classic: "i don' think he's in a bench-pressing mood...he's just had 1000 lbs crush his spleen"

  • "lets hear it for a fat tub of shit whose so dependent on his "equipment" that if anything deviates even a millimeter he becomes a human aluminum can." does any fool on the face of the earth actually believe that this mess can come even remotely close to pressing one thousand pounds off his chest without space-age materials? absolutely ridiculous.

  • Big deal, he is just wearing a cotton t-shirt, it doesnt help that much(irony)

  • the bench shirt (stretchy thing) is to keep him from tearing muscles as its 1015 pounds.

  • No the bench shirt increases the weight u can lift.

  • is he gonna try it again, Triple H?

  • he's cheating. he weas those stretchy things to help him lift the weight back up. if you can't do it properly you can't do it.

  • he can do 700 some without the vest

  • Oh my god!!That really hurts!!

  • Looked like that would hurt a bit..
