I used to get stuck inside the halfguard, but when i learned of this pass and everytime im able to pull this off, i was able to pass and tap some guys. Simple choke=Tap out! Thanks a lot Prof. Kurt!!!

Rock on Kurt! Hey maybe you can help me. I'm new at BJJ (no money for a GI, so I'm doing no gi BJJ), and there's a technique I seem to catch guys in a lot. It's like an arm triangle but instead of your choking arm being under the other guy's arm (upper arm on chest), it's actually on top of it (upper arm on his head). My instructor told me it was called a "straight jacket" but whenever I look it up on youtube, it's not the move I'm looking for. Do you know another name? Can you do a vid on it?

@TheIronowl Not to brag. but only in 6months of bjj I tapped out 2 Army Sargent that were all into their "catch Wrestling" and just Effing owned them. BIG BIG guys too. 240 of pure muscle. Chocked them the fuck out. haha. One did get me twice in a stupid turtle rolls but that was the less ranked Sargent...my brother in law. lmao
