  • Why crackers mad they cant get afros

  • @nomorespooks3...I think you missed the main thing to look for on the shelves near the malt liquor, grape kool-aid, and watermelon candy, which is a white chick half off%........ You know they go to the highest Black bidder. For example: Kim kardashian, Elin Nordegren etc... I could go on, but for more information on the subject look for web-sites on the NFL,NBA, etc...

  • crackers are some hateful people.they love to come to our channel with their crazy ass comments.no class at all

  • Comment removed

  • I have created a special and revolutionary new grooming product for ethnics!!!!

You can oil your hair with it.....you can put it on your skin to fight that "ashy" look......and you can FRY CHICKEN IN IT!!!

This unbelievable product is called NEGROIL!!!

Look for it on shelves near the malt liquor, grape kool-aid, watermelon candy!

  • WTFF MALES WORE BRAIDS BACK DEN UNREAL

  • hahahahahahahahahahahahahahha

  • I've never been faced with any of that. But everyone, no matter what their faith, is given a freewill to decide who or what they wish to follow. We're only accountable to the Creator of all, Allah, (or as some call Him, God ). You can choose to believe this or not (and you probably won't LOL !) Peace. I meant who or what they wish to WORSHIP. Sorry about that.

  • Yeah, lol, remember when Ayds was just a diet candy?

  • that commercial today would be banned even from the ync.

  • omg. The box is ridiculous. Who has afros like that anymore>

  • Let's bring the fro back again, okay? I'm wearing one today.

  • i think afros are fantastic black people should embrace there natural style and stop wearing fake wigs and straightening there hair with horific chemicals

  • thank God, some black people that accept and don't hate themselves

  • Makes any style look better.. noting can make that look better :P

  • I remember being so envious of the woman's afro on that box ! What we wouldn't do to have the biggest, fullest 'fro around !

  • @amuslima99

islam is just a terrorist religion in the world

  • @rddaos Hey, you have an absolute right to your opinion. Now, did you ever use Afro Sheen, LOL?

  • @amuslima99

by acknowledging that i have a right to my opinion, you are not being a good muslim. remember, there is no freedom of opinion or freedom of speech in islam. however, there IS the freedom to keep your 'fro looking proper.

  • @rddaos If there was no freedom I wouldn't have become a muslim. It's a choice I made many years ago and have not regretted one moment of it. I haven't worn a 'fro in years so I no longer have to keep it looking proper. Freedom or not. LOL ! Much Peace to You !

  • @amuslima99

what's the punishment under islam for changing your religion to christianity or saying mohammad is a false prophet? freedom of speech/opinion under islam?? lolz you know the answer

  • "the 'natural' world" - - that's very clever.

  • fuck dougefresh

  • @DaveDude571

  • i want a hot tub time machine

  • @takadi i got a feeling that you're implying black people by that statement

you probably erased the word black right before you posted that statement

    wtf person, wtf

  • Soooooull Traaaaainnn!

  • Does this stuff actually work?

  • These so-called racists are so unbelievably stupid it's funny! Bet they won't say that crap to a black person to their face!

  • @Rw7451 A nigger you call us? Well you don't have any business calling anybody a nigger....you just go on ahead and go back and do your family tree and you probably got more pickaninnies inside of this creation than you'd ever imagine. Nothing is more dangerous than your sincere ignorance and conscientious stupidity on this post. We are amalgam of Black and White in this country and you know it. So truth be told you just talked about your own self. Hmmm, why did you call yourself a nigger?

  • Okay, lmao @ the dude at the end! Roflmao!

  • That stuff is awful. Makes your scalp itch and attracts dirt and is made out of petroleum oil derivatives

  • Funky.

  • i love dark skinned black women

  • that's becuz yo eyes is naturally slanted u cant see anyway soooooo open yo eyes nuggahhhhhhhh nei how mf

beautiful people use afro sheen !

  • that's becuz yo eyes is naturally slanted u cant see anyway soooooo open yo eyes nuggahhhhhhhh nei how mf

  • I'm ruff and tuff with my Afro puffs!

  • So for awhile the cable company Comcast was airing selected episodes of Soul Train in their On Demand section; the episodes actually included these commercials :)

  • YO FRO!

  • A soalfull cornroll?

  • @doodoohead313 "A soulful cornrow"

  • Ha ha ...Oh no...

    ;0)

  • Love it...It was so different to see this! I wish we had more Natural Commercials now...I so love being Natural!!

  • typo but yawl have nothing better to do. We are still black and proud there's NOTHING YOU CAN DO ABOUT IT!!!

  • @Sheenaboykins right right.....awwww yeah!!!

  • Okay enough with they racist bull. What.do yawl do good.and find blk people on youth

  • I grew up in the 'hood in the '60s and '70s (Brockton MA), and always saw these TV ads and heard the older guys talking about "Man, I gotta get me one of them Afro Sheen Blowout Kits!" Wouldn't have helped me a bit. Being part Hispanic and part Caucasian, I would have looked absolutely ridiculous with any type of a "natural".

  • @elc1960 Brockton wasn't that 'hood inthe '70's I think.

  • @3089280288 The part I lived in (North Main Street near Zayre's at Haverhill Street) definitely was. Now damn near the whole town is the 'hood. Brockton is New Bedford without the harbor area.

  • @ xCarmenn same lol

  • hahaha Afrojack sent me here

  • he had zig zag rows back then

  • This takes me back to when i was very young and very little.

  • If Charlie Sheen knocks up a black chick they should name it Afro.

  • BOY his cornrows are bad! *stands up, applauds*

  • Humans origins comes out of africa so celebrate!

  • Good commercial..................even though the extreme closeup of the woman at the beginning kind of startled me!

  • Hey, it's Princess Leia's half sister, Tanisha. She wasn't interested in rebellion, but she could bring da funk.

  • The Genographic Project

  • Afro Sheen never did my fro good...for real...

  • Dude's cornrows were nice as hell.....damn lol!

  • Dark African American women are beautiful.

  • @purplebanana1000 no, no they're not at all

  • @foilseal You don't speak for me.

  • @purplebanana1000 i just speak for 99% of men...that's all.

  • @foilseal I'm not a man. I'm female. I have come across lots of white men who think dark skinned women are beautiful.

  • @purplebanana1000 Thank you !!

  • @BUandWonderful No problem. It's true though :)

  • Very cool.I love the hair of people of African descent..I also love curly hair, yet I've yet to meet a curly haired or person of African descent who didn't yearn for straight hair.Funny how we all want what we haven't got.

Classy commercial.Shows what the product does without a loss of fuss. The girl is pretty pretty and the brother's corn rows are great.Plus the announcer has a lovely speaking voice.Nice stuff.

  • people were so much classier back in the 70's

  • @takadi when integration and crossover music came in Soulful music went out the door along with classiness; dignified men and the femininity of black women are a legacy of the past. There are a handful of that type but mostly they died out.. Say it Loud "I'm black and I'm proud" is long gone. What was the point of the death of all the black revolutionary leaders? Just so black people can go back to worhiping the culture, custom, traditions and values of recessive leprous people. How Sad! :(

  • @estellelight then you should chack out the natural haired women here on youtube

  • How about Ultra Sheen

  • Afro-Sheen:

You can shower all your life, but you'll never get clean

  • Comment removed

  • Love the afro puffs at 0.06!!!

Nothing like watching a throwback Afro Sheen commercial. This and Soul Train! Love the fro!

  • @MrCracker010 it depends. i have an afro ask me any questions ya like

  • Makes me funk.

  • Dude on the box has some sweet chops.

  • Cornrows were around LONG before they became popular! Afros were popular between 67 and 77

  • not feeling that hairstyle

  • I like the dude at the end's cornrows. I had a friend in Middle School with that same style.

  • Layin' down the stank grooves at the roller skatin' rink, and baby its roller derby night!

  • pancake hat! lol

  • @vivecarocks ikr :)

  • Now they all wear tacky extensions that don't match their own natural hair, or worse, wigs that are super flat hair which looks totally unnatural.

  • @VIEWTUBE00000 I know what u mean, wigs that look like the hair is Plastic! I know they are going for that Oil and pressed look, but they chinese fibre aint cuttin it!

  • "The largest selling products in the NATURAL world"

    There's an UNnatural world now??

  • @Cathain78 I think they mean for those who wear there hair natural IN the world...I think?

  • @msmchy

That would make more sense, pity that'snothing like what they actually said.

    They Engrish speak badly :-)

  • @Cathain78 What they mean by in the "natural World" is reffering to those who where their hair in it's natural state meaning their natural hair texture not chemically treated/altered hair...relaxers ,perms etc.

  • I hate my hair...

  • I miss the afro ~ mayb it'll help honky hair 2

  • Princess Michelle Leah Obama.

  • Omg, I didn't know brothers were braids back then too.

  • lol

  • super fro

  • She looks like something out of STAR TREK!

  • Calink cornrows are way past the 70's!! Try Africa!

  • What a dumb stupid thing to say,Acire30.Africa?Really?

  • CAN YOU DIG IT!! @0:14!!! lol!!!!

  • Hehehe

  • I LOVE MY FRO!!!!!!!!

  • Haha this is awesome!

  • Damn, I didn't know they were doing cornrows up like that back in the 70's!

  • @Calinks me either and my mans was sweet as hell

  • @Calinks Try Hair braiding is at least 5000 years old, if not older. Hair braiding in Africa can be traced back as far as 3500 BCE. It has been a large part of many cultures all around the world including Africa,

  • @Acire30 what is BCE i thought it was BC

  • @kickbutrally That's what is refered to as a typo.

  • @Acire30 o

  • @kickbutrally BCE = Before Common Era.

  • @GetTheLook2010 School us all Get The Look!!! Thank You!!

  • @kickbutrally It is BC. BCE is a way for people to get away from why they started AD (Anno Domini which means "In the Year of our Lord" and BC (before Christ) to begin with. What they don't mention is no matter what they call it the they use the same dating system that began at the birth of Christ (give or take 5 years).

  • @Calinks corn rows go back thousands of years.

  • @Calinks yea some grew it naturally but most braided it and than unbraided it like after two weeks you know just to keep up with the times it was like the more hair you had the more black and hip you was blood

  • @Calinks

As far as I know at least in the USA, cornrows have been around since the colonial days. Many politicians back then wore their hair with cornrow type hairdos as well as french braids.

  • @Calinks Of course! Though I suppose it didn't become popularly known amongst white people until Bo Derek had her hair done like this in "10", a movie form 1980. The phrase "24/7", jazz, cake walks, and so many other things weren't known generally until YEARS after they were already popular in black culture.

  • @Calinks Really? You must be young. The 70's is what started the cornrow trend. Cornrow back then was as popular as the Afro. Another thing, people think the Michael Jordan made the bald head a trend or was new during the late 80's early 90's. Nope, that started back during the 70's. Isaac Hayes, Kojak aka Telly Savalis and a good friend and model named Pat Evans. She posed with Isaac and did covers for the Ohio Players albums. I worn cornrows during the 70's when I was a kid.

  • damn i love that...."nothin I cant get from afro sheen"

  • screw you, but anyways great commercial.

  • If your'e going to be racist, learn how to spell it dumb ass.

  • I want a SUPAH FRO!

  • i have a afro right now i feel all from the 70s!

  • lol I would like funny as hell with a fro

  • lmao! complete with african drums. this commercial is something lol!

  • O_O

  • Hey, Im old enough to remember USING the blowout kit back when I was a kid. It was stylin back in the day and it really kept hair soft and NON greasy.

  • I miss that product. It was the only thing that worked on my coarse Native American hair.

  • Its still there! its extremely difficult to find but its still out there and try African Miracle. Almost as good.

  • @RRydnew

Sorry I didn't get your comment in my mail, for some reason.

Is African Miracle in regular retail stores or would I have to go to a beautician's supply store?

  • I m sorry that you didnt get the message. I said that it is extremely difficult to find as the dollar store that I get it from has finally run out and will not be getting anymore. African Miracle is in Sally Beauty Supply. Its almost as good but a bit gritty to feel until rubbed in.

  • I didn't know Native Americans hard coarse hair

  • Thick and coarse, yes, but without the dryness that the curls in African American hair cause, usually.

Look into the genetic makeup of black hair.

  • i guess we all have similarities one way or another "one people"

  • @whitetig2

    Amen, honey.

    Good to meet you.

  • They sure do! I have the 3 part whammy! Native American, A/A and its RED! Its a bitch to keep soft and easy to manage but when you find a product like Afro Sheen...its NEWS!

  • do u think their would be a controversy if obama grew out a big FRO or put his hair in CORNROWS? lmao....

  • afro sheen clogs up... 70s naturals lol

  • LOL i like how nobody commented on the big ass pancake hat that dude had on his head! looked like it was made outta damn picnic tablecloth lol

  • @blackknight509

LOL!!!!!!!! that was a big ass hat!!!

  • @blackknight509 Im just suprised no stupid ignorant person didnt start a racist argument just because its a black person.

  • @dennyfrontier I Knnooooww. Doesn't seem like EVERY time a black person is in a youtube video, racist comments come flying out of every crack and crevice of the earth. My goodness, I thought I was the only one who noticed that. I think they just haven't found this commercial yet but watch what will happen when they do. Btw, it's funny how blacks rarely write derogatory comments when whites are on youtube. We either have more class or better things to do with our time...or maybe both.

  • @soaringsolo Keyboard cowards. I see them on Yahoo's comment page too. But I'm glad that they're exposing themselves because many that say racism doesn't exist anymore, all that they have to do is go here and Yahoo forum boards. Closet racist out in public that come out on the internet.

  • @blackknight509 BWHAHAHAHAHAAA!!!!!! I thought that too, and then he was wobbling his head when he talked LOL

  • lol.

When my hair gets long enough I'm gonna rock those puffe she has.

    Damn her hair is hot!!!

  • NOT TO BE RACIST OR ANYTHING BUT HAS EVERYONE WHO HAS LEFT A COMMENT HAVE AN AFRO ACCEPT ME?? my friend has an afro

  • i do i was just wandrin how to make min bigger and found this lol and IM WHITE :D

  • i have one, getting it jimi hendrix'd once it hits 9 inches.its like 7 now.

  • @29sucks I do

  • ha this a cool commercial. I have an afro glad i have one!

  • Doesn't get blacker than that, lol.

I want an afro so bad, maybe i need some Afro sheen XD

  • Dang that commercial was back in the day, but once Michael Jordan started winning all them titles with that shaved head of his, that was it for afros. We all had to start shavin.

  • i rock my fro everyday and i love it : )
