@thelegobrain your drumming must really suck then - the rhythm (yes, spelling good sir) is incorrect as this has been "re-interpreted" as is blatantly obvious by the added notes and phrases. and yes, i am a musician and sound designer. have been for 10 years now. and i also own the CD of The Terminator soundtrack, along with actual DVDs of the movies along with VHS tapes.

iscillik u may own a cd but in case you havnt noticed this isnt a movie sound track so the rhythm is different from other soundtracks yes but the tempo and notes are all corect. plus i am a very good drummer and have been for six years.i am a terminator fan and like all of them.and if my drumming really sucked would my dad buy me a saturn mapex kit a roland electronic kit a sound syster a mixer a keyboard and a mac to make my own music tracks?sory about the spelling,i dont spell right for idiots

@oscillik - I assume when you're talking about the rhythm, you're talking about the famous drum beat, but if you listen to the original song, the added beats are indeed there. And as for the notes and phrases, he seems to be pretty well dead-on.

They may be off-beat, but the rhythm of the notes is pretty close - maybe a few minor mistakes, but I don't think it's as off you do. He may have taken some artistic license with it, but it's still close enough to tell what he's playing, and it's not bad. For the melody, he's playing the eighth notes where there are eighth notes, he holds the C at the beginning and drops down to the B at the right time. Like I said, he may have taken license with the backing, but the lead melody is dead-on.

well im not a musician but i studied music and I used to play a keyboard that kind of sound maybe bossa nova last long for a few seconds after you play the key and even after you play another keys (the number of sounds played at same time depends of the quality of the keyboard number of voices).

No, the melody too. It's hard to see because of the angle and quality of the vid. If you can watc closely, there's always one finger thats holding a note, while the others on the hand plays the rythm/chords.
