The AI was BRUTALLY cheap with Mags in Children of the Atom. He was truly a "break you, then put you back together just to break you again" type of boss. The theme fits the temperament of his magnetic tempest.

Magnetos best theme, probably cause in this game the ai controlling magneto is an asshole. He blocks all the time and his special bar never stops increasing automatically. If he does hyper grab and you dont have a projectile you are screwed. This magneto puts cyber akuma, onslaught, abyss, apocalypse, and that boss from mvc3 to shame.

Hulk's previous = MvC1

Storm = XvsSF

Magneto = XvsSF

Sentinel = CotA

etc. etc.

Where the Capcom vets they went with their most iconic theme, the Marvel side simply got what was their last theme used before MvC3. I like this theme better too, but you can't help Capcom's decisions.

Yeah, whenever I heard this at the beginning, chills went up my spine. Thats the true sign of a villian, intimidating opponents. I could actually beat him, but E-M was annoying as fuck. He reminds me of I-NO, when she takes too much damage, she switches styles and becomes more aggressive. The best way to beat Mags (IMO) is to chip away at him until you build levels and counter with supers (for more chip damage). Youre not gonna be able to execute fancy combos on Mags in XCOTA.

Theyre not that hard to beat, its just you get agitated in blocking a crapload of stuff. I-NO is not hard really, but the I-NO in Accent Core is a true bitch. Before I knew what to do against her, I would time Testament's counter to end up behind her. Then I used Eddie and went underground til it all ended. But Mags was one the best, top 10 in difficulty. I saw a vid of a guy who pretty much beat the crap outta him though. Maybe it was on easy or something....

Alpha 1 and 2 (Jazzy remixes of classic themes Alpha 3 was a breath of fresh air). I don't know why they hung on to the whole jazzy music concept, I think it even showed a little in Mega Man 8 at the time. So glad they ditched that. In MvC2 the music took you out of the moment so much, it was almost like, we don't care no more. But now MvC3 :) yay.
