  • Can anyone write the lyrics please? Thanks.

  • @PollyGrohlFF

Do you still remember when we were little?

When we were playing in the park and you asked me what happens when you die.

I said you forget everything ... everything.

“Even you?” you asked. Yes, even me.

You did not want to die. Never forget.

The remains of what we used to have were taken away with the softest squeeze.

    How did I forget? How?...

This one is an absolute masterpiece.

  • @t28a Thank you so much!

    I agree! Shivers...

  • 2:15

  • 750 GW (Giga Watts) of pure emotional energy...

  • Kills me everytime i hear it. In a good way...

  • Perfeito!

  • @Djiande please correct title, Himinninn er að hrynja, en stjörnurnar fara þér vel.

  • Beautiful arrangement, but i agree stolenbaby2008 the voice speaking the words make me shudder

  • O_O The dialogue is fucking creepy. The words itself are beautiful, but that computerized voice speaking it...DDD;

Absolutely gorgeous arrangement, though, omg. It makes me want to weep and hide under my covers and give this guy a hug all at the same time. I can totally imagine this music playing during a really dramatic/sad scene in a movie. (A good movie tho, no Armegeddon or Battlefield: L.A. garbage.)

  • Shame about the CLIPPING though. Who ever put this up on You Tube knows NOTHING about how this Kind of Music is meant to be played. If I want the Volume increased, I'll increase it. Simple.

I don't have to have it increased for me, to the point where it's Crackling. Think what the Artist must feel about having Dynamics Destroyed by someone else.

  • @therealKINDLE Thumbs up for "Kind of Music" capitalized.

    And (of course) the truth.

  • @ninjabanana1 couldn't agree with you more!

  • oh my God! I broke up into 1440 pieces

    :'-[

  • oh god, it's such an amazing music...

  • love from mexico city

  • I cry every time I hear this song. Seriously.

  • beautiful music,speechless !

  • I've known this song for a long time.

    How could I forget?

  • I believe life.

  • Himinninn Er Að Hyrnja, En Stjörnurnar Fara = Heaven Is In Tusk, The Stars Go

thats what google translator says, but can someone identify/verify the meaning of it?

  • @darkstar2650 the actual title is "Himininn Er Að Hyrnja, En Stjörnurnar Fara Þér Vel"

and translated ""The sky is falling down, but the stars suit you well"

    hope it helped

  • The first word in the title is spelled "Himinninn" not "Himininn"

  • SUPERB.

  • This song is horrible, it conjures up so many awful feelings in me, you just can't help but feel saddened by it all, and that voice ... Argh, haunting.

Mind you, this is what I love about such pieces, the sheer undeniable effect it has upon you.

  • To think of death as simply forgetting everything...

It makes it that much scarier, I think.

  • @KadajusFunToy

Forgetting everything.. or remembering everything; depends on how you look at it :)

  • It took 13.5 billion years for the universe to evolve my ears, my eyes and this music so I can well a tear to this song.

  • this track has is really powerfull its this that made me go buy the album :)

  • i think i come out a different person after each time i listen to this.

  • The combination of strings, the lyrics, and the voice make me think this is what the seconds following death are like.....in an abyss of nothingness....wondering why you forgot.

  • my god this is so brilliant... "how did i forget...? hooow....?"

    gets me to tears everytime

  • I love it.

the dialog made me feel so human all of a sudden. Amazing.

  • takk

  • stellalift???

  • I cried when I heard this song......it's so beautiful.

And that's my worst fear....losing my love due to death..........

  • When the strings come in @ :19 the music moves similarly to Adagio For Strings by Samuel Barber.

  • @skaren18

thanks for the lyrics.i always wondered what is this song about. i could hear only single words. it's so simple, but still beautiful.

  • painfully beautiful
