We need some kind of worker visa program where people can come to this country and work, then when the work is done they have to report in for either another job or return to their country of origin. The person wanting in had to fill out an application, had a back ground chk, and was given a #. They had a permit and would return to Mex after the job was finished...it worked.

The way the fence is designed you could also throw a rope up around the top part, reach through the fence to grab the dangling portion, pull it through, tie a slip not, and now it becomes even easier to get over. I think mine fields would be a lot cheaper and a greater deterrent.

IF you want the fence to keep people out, and I'm not saying the fence is even a good idea, you need
1) Active seismic sensors, to detect tunnels.
2) Camera's which track motion and heat of human sized objects
3) 2 tall fences like that, with razor wire between them, with a monitor current, to measure if it is either flattened, moved out of the way, or cut.
This all would be expensive, but its the minimum one would need. Is it worth it?

The way the fence is designed you could also throw a rope up around the top part, reach through the fence to grab the dangling portion, pull it through, tie a slip not, and now it becomes even easier to get over. I think mine fields would be a lot cheaper and a greater deterrent.

@qsdasc 1st, I don't smoke weed. 2nd, I DO believe it should be LEGALIZED. And 3rd, its not about one being worth more than the other. What it boils down to is that the Illegals have no right under law to be here. There are reasons why we have such laws in place; for economic stability, and most importantly, safety and security of our country. I have no problems with immigrants coming here to work, my good friend was born in Mexico, and he became a citizen by serving our country.
