@mattymaxx No its a zetec se phase 2 and not all of the mk5 engines are chain driven that was the 1.3 8v endura engine that is seen in KAs as well. it does have different management and the engine itself is slightly different. the duratec HE is seen in the ST. the Mk6s have duratec on the airbox but they are not duratecs.

its a protech 4-2-1 manifold with a piper cat back.

wud sound similar however the its a different engine the one in the mk5 is a zetec and its a duratech in the mk6/7

1.6 is labelled Duratec, but is the Same Zetec SE lump in the MK5, just different management iirc

no its not, its a different engine or the power output would be the same! plus the duratech is chain driven cam setup the zetec is a belt!

The proper Duratec is chain driven yes
The 1.6 you find in the MK6 Zetec S is Basically the same as the Zetec SE you find in the MK5. the 1.6 MK6 Petrol Zetec S is belt driven.

mk6 zetec s are cambelt driven, the 2 litre in the st150 is chain driven (duratec = zetec with different badge)

@mattymaxx no hes right its a phase 2 zetec-se its slightly different in design and has different management. its only labelled a duratec.

@mattymaxx the duratec he is in the st, the zetec-se phase 2 is in the mk6. its pretty much the same as the mk5 one. So he is right.
