One question; but don't when you stretch the videos to 720p or 1080p.. wouldn't the image quality decrease a lil bit? I tried to make it look HD by using the sharpen tool.

@ChocoToken Changing the video from 576i to 720/1080p doesnt actually stretch the video all it does is add more pixels thats what the "p" actually stands for, problem being that rendering it for 1080p sometimes makes it look more 576i than 1080p, your better off rendering in 720p it looks the best with the s-video settup adjustng the color setting for recording also helps before editing

No, it is NOT able to be 'converted' to HD, there is no definition to begin with, but you can UPSCALE it instead, and upscaling it only makes it look absolutely horrific, honestly don't bother and just keep your videos 480p, nobody enjoys looking at this terrible excuse of 720p.

Perhaps I was a tad too harsh in my original comment, but again, the upscaled HD does not even remotely come close to touching true HD footage. It looks a little bit better, you see the letter S a little clearer, but it IS NOT HD. Not even remotely close to HD.

Again, you're right in that it does look a tiny bit sharper, but considering it isn't even half as good as proper HD, I don't think anybody cares much for being able to see the letter S more clearly than in 480p.

I would say the same for this video, 1080p option just barely looks sharper then 480p, so why not 'upscale' it to 1080p, with whatever method you use, then just downscale it back down to 480p again? 1080p looks like what 480p SHOULD look like right off the bat, and you shouldn't need cheap 'marketing tricks' like HD to do so.

Use windows media player to edit, when you publish it, it's a pretty small file and it's awesome quality and you can select 720p/1080p.

Oh, when I record, I change to 16:9 with a free program called QMC, (Quick media converter) then you can select to convert to DivX or XviD and 16:9 at the same time (:.

@WGgamers Hmmm well i think that the video lag can be fixed by turning the FPS (frames per second) down a little bit, and download the older version of FFDshow to fix the audio lag :), i suggest checking out RANBOWSIXFAN11 setup for more of a better tut :)
