What to do if my dog is scared from water?

@michieliboy1 Some dogs don't like water as much as others so introduce things like hoses, swimming, sprinklers, ect. from a distance and work your way closer over time. If they are really frightened than maybe water activities are not for that dog.

About how long does it take to train a guide dog? like a year? six months?

@Skatergirl1515 Puppy raisers keep the dogs until they are 14-17 months old and then they go for formal training for about another 6 months. So the dogs are about 2 years old by the time they are ready.

I was just going to ask you about if you ever see your other puppies that you have raised. Thar would be a good segment. How many pups have you guide trained?

@perrisbabe we have had 9 other puppies and Marianna is the only one we see on a regular basis with the exception on Eli who still lives with us. We do get pictures and talk to most of the other families that have our career change and graduates.

Hi! I am a guide dog trainer in Estonia (very small country, we train only 4-5 dogs a year) and I am very grateful for your videos, they give so much ideas and inspiration for how to improve our puppy raising system. These videos are also for grate example for our puppy raisers.

I also would like to know, what has changed in puppy raising during this time you have been a puppy raiser? And do you do anything different with Ricki than with your previous dogs?
