I always thought this version was horrible. The original (1981 version) was MUCH better. And I really don't see why they wanted to make a new one.

The video is also very depressing and just plain weird. The Police broke up in 1986, and the video looks like a memorial to the band. You can see clips of videos from their earlier songs ("Synchronicity," "Every Breath You Take," etc.) And then the way that Any Summers and Stewart Copeland disappear, with only Sting left. Very depressing.
