That yellow lettering is the first new paint scheme produced and only one proceed with the yellow scheme. The SD70ACEs were made by Overland products. Each one costs about half a grand. Hope this helps.

He has been a engineer for KCS railroad in St. Louis for 14 years and yes that was him. Kind of short guy blue overalls stocky and he did tell me he went up there and someone showed him around. Cool! His name is Sonny Sellers.

Your uncle had to have shelled out alot of cash for this incredibly nice locos for his layout. Especially for being Overland models. Those are not cheap. I like the BNSF 7695 (yellow swoosh). The only one in the fleet.

Nice. He paid some pretty pennies for those models. Styrafoam base is not good for the track. You have to have a wood base for the track. That foam will give you more problems than you can handle down the road.

that`s intresting,I`m personal friends with Brian and it`s 1st come/1st served on reservations with brass,you can request a road number or the such but no favorites are played. plus that these are made by Ajin Precision of Korea,now Ajin Train Model,Overland finances these long before they are ran and brass is avery tight market-hence the prices,I own alot of brass these are all recent models,I`ve been at it for 10 years now.

Your better off waiting for MTH's HO SD70ACe!! They are arriving in Early 2009 so that is MUCH sooner than T55s SD70ACe. T55 has been telling customers about their SD70Ace release since 2005 and still NOTHING.

I understand that you do not like MTH and you are entitled to that but to me, If MTH SD70ACe looks as good as my brass ones or at least similar I will be very pleased and I would have to be a buyer. In fact I would make a big fleet of the UP non heritage units. Ajin Train Model as a change means nothing good to me or anyone. All that means is the price for brass will increase to more than $960 MSRP as the current ones were. A plastic version from MTH will be $200 T55 $350++ I like MTH!
