I met him before the show..and he couldn't even talk to us. i felt so bad for him! he was on 'vocal rest' and just kept pointing to his throat and smiling..and then was just mouthing the words to what he wanted to say..but he just kept smiling a lot..such a cutie!

I hope he got a standing ovation for the effort he put forth. I so want this tour to be over.....and to think he's working on his CD at the same time? Insane! He must have been so disappointed to not be able to be at the very top of his game. It breaks my heart thinking about it. I think it's such a shame that, despite being sick for some time now, David has to get up there and perform night after night after night. You can tell the strain it's placing on his vocal cord(s). He so desperately needs some rest while he recuperates from the nasty bug he has. I can appreciate that fans have purchased tickets, largely to see him perform, but the poor kid is obviously sick. The perfectionist in him has got to be having a coronary by now!:(
