GSP1101 itself only has a SIMUL amp and effect processor. Output options include: XLR OUT = mix 1 / 4 "OUT = Poweamp + Box, Combo USB PC = Mixed (Digital)

You can use an external preamp as I am currently E-530th GSP1101 SETUP> external preamp and adopt it as' own inside. In version C-64 can own impulses speaker cabinet - very good.

I have a question I want to get a GSP im not too picky on the model but i may get a 2112 a 2120 or a 1101 What is the best way to setup these Effect Processors

I found a great deal in a used Yamaha MFC10 foot controller. It looks awesome when it is lit up. And I used POD X3 and even used a Mesa recording pre( for direct recording) and I believe this unit beat them .

Great song. Sounds good for your style. The dynamics of your picking style was captured well. To me that's where I lose interest in most amp modelers. Same attack all the time. This is quite responsive.

gsp 1101 sucks compared to the gsp 2101. the 2101 has real tube distortion, twice the effects, and you can make your own algorithoms. GSP 2101= the best.

@fekiguitarmen I have a Laney TF 300 if I run the GSP or any other of these tube EPs what do u think will happen do I need a PA what would you advise ive been playing for about 5 years and think its time to up the level to more of a pro sound and really try to take my music somewhere

I disagree. I owned the GSP2101 and it sounded worse. True, it has a tube inside yet doesn't sound like a tube amp. True it's WAY more versatile and has more options than the GSP1101 but the core, basic sound is better on the GSP1101. The GSP2101 was an excellent sounding unit but as soon as you get into amp or stomp box distortion, which most of us use more than any other sound, the 2101 falls short. If you don't use distortion sounds as with jazz, r&b and other styles, the 2101 is fine.

love the gsp 1101 , It uses your amps preamp if it has one, wich preserves your core tone. Wich is great..especially for 499 dollars, Its, in my opinion the best "bang for your buck ", that you can get in that price range.

@stratcat429 Yes, currently using the GSP just clean sound, I live concert E-530 / E-840 in the setup external preamp.

@pyroman34 TOTALLY agree. The only multieffectsunit that is as flexible and good sounding or better is the Axe-Fx. IMHO. I have the 2101, and the GNX3. The GNX3 is crap compared even to a behringer v-amp. All the good stuff comes from 1990-1995 and not any further. People say the Axe-Fx is so flexible, but forget that the 2101 and the TSR-24s had just as good flexiblity in 1993.

Jinak toho rockmastra jsem měl, je to jeden z nejlepších preampů, ale bohužel do stylu hudby kterou hraji, plánuji spíše E-530

It seems dumb that the manual states that Delay Time has values that range from 0-99.

Superb Tone! Like mine! (I have myself a GSP1101 and also a Jackson with your same pick ups ) but I play through a Marshall 20/20 or 9100 and 2x12 Marshall cab. I saw you used an Engl... model? 840 or 830? How sounds the engl?

I'm really curious.. Has Engl more Headroom than marshall in power amps?

well willy it sounds good to me. Keep in mind though the guy is playing the 1101 through a nice tube poweramp. THAT contributes a lot to the sweet tone. I know a lot of guys buy some rack preamp/effects and then plug it into some crappy solid state power amp or in front of a cheap combo amp and then blame the rack pre for not sounding good. Just keep that in mind.
