  • Don't make decisions...arrive to them using the scientific method. Will an alien encounter be beneficial or detrimental to the human race at this point in time? Will this push the value shift of consciousness for society to start using logical approaches to solve their problems, rather than dogmatic institutions like politics and religion?

    Personally, if it would help me break my old habits of the usual and 'comfortable,' while helping me explore the unknown, I'm for it.
