@rockout909 Hi -- I remember being in American competitions with your father -- please give my best regards - Butch Peterson, Orland High School (1988-1992)
"Still pretty good?" "Throwback!" "Kinda small?" We were the first Scarlet Brigade Band ('88) to beat the Merced Marching Million. We built the foundation (84-88) that the rest of the Brigade stands on. You betta recognize!
Wow. Thanks for posting. I was in the Merced Marching Million from 1985-1989. I remember Fairfield being somebody to look out for those days. Do you have any of Merced back in the day. I lost all of mine.
I remember in 87 or 88 being at a review somewhere and hearing you warm up with "Washington Grays" and it was very rich (and scary to me!). I bookmarked Armijo playing that march because of you guys. Sorry I don't have video of you guys.
My aunt and dad were in this video!
Then my dad was drum major Fall 90 and summer 91 John Akin

Hi allenman. I have nothing but respect
for the Merced Marching Million. You guys
had a great band program all those years.
