@RustiSwordz Running Google's first result for 'GDV player' inside DOSbox does the trick, and DOSbox can also capture the video itself. Somebody with the spare time could capture the rest of the game's FMVs as well.
The reply value was great, the patches were more like expansions and the community is STILL going at captain Zedo's hardw[a]r page.
I never did check up the fan made sequel assuming it got made.
Anyone know if the sequel got made... I was a regular at Cpt Zedo's at the time of planning but lost interest when the popular choice for the next location was the ice moon Europa.
Because old man Lazarus knows the resources of the planet are running out, and since the Lazarus family is the most powerful family on Titan (his ancestors established the original mining colony) he decides to end it all with some dignity--before the remains of society breaks down into chaos...that's as close as I can get.
They could've had a sequel--if you play the game up to the point where you get to the crashed alien ship, you find out they are on their way to Earth (that's the scene where your ship is levitated with the alien ship), so you get to find out what has happened on Earth since the colonists left.
Same here. My brother actually lost the 2nd CD a decade ago after packing his stuff to go to Florida. At least I have the 1st one, and I'm lucky to keep it after all these years.

Can someone please explain to me why the planet explodes near the end?
I completely don't remember seeing this, i cannot even remember if i finished the game.

Wow, thats a pretty harsh end to the game, going out with a big bang ;) so i guess they never intended a sequel to the game.

Wow, I have never seen the ending video of Hardwar. Because i've never beaten it before. I lost the 2nd CD and couldn't finish it. good video.
