Hey yall...i've got a chance to see thw real EWF and THE ALL SATRS live here in Brasil.Man, agreeded or not, the ALL STARS sounded much much more better, the sounds were really great and the voices got that metalic and high tune by witch the ELEMENTS were once noun.

I'm a great fun of EWF, but i have to admit THE ALL STARS sounds much mor EWF them themselves, nowadays...

Philip is still the icon on the higher notes, but nothing more...at least live

This is not, i repeat not! Earth Wind and Fire. The lead gutarist in this band use to play with the original Earth Wind and Fire. This is the band he formed. They do sound Gooood!

It`s true they were great musicians, but I also see them as great performers.

Look at Maurice and Verdine, they were always full of energy on the stage.

You must know that musicians` performance change our experience when it`s recorded in a form of video.

yeah that`s the whole point. on a live, musicians are more energized than in a recodring studio. and you can see that by their performance.

I mean performance isn`t everything there is to it, but I can`t stop comparing them to how they were back in 80`s.
