@TheDylanJoyce no, its rubber tyfred with an guide rail in the middle and an electric motor on board. maglev tains have no motor on board but get pulled by electromagnets inside the rail.
I've been there three time, yes the best part about getting off at the airport is going for a short train ride over the swamp from the terminal to the main building.

Rode that thing back in April Of 07'. There are a few gates on what you call the check-in side but Very few of them.
