This should be viewed as a compliment to the drummer , Schroeder(or dean...?). To have the conscious of mind to see it drop, spot it, and maintain the beat one handed by switching the singular hand from hat to snare. More impressive then embarrasing. Cheers.

Drummers sometimes drop their sticks even when they aren't spinning them. To even post this is kinda lame....you might as well post a guitar player breaking a string...and post a video titled "why guitarist shouldn't hit their strings hard". I'm a drummer.....and I've dropped my stick before , you just have another one ready and keep going.

That was actually a pretty cool recovery. He dropped the stick he was spinning, passed his other stick over, and started hitting the hi hat while leaning down to pick up the dropped one.

That's not as bad as cutting your tempo in half after a fill. My band and I recently played at Ventura Theater, (I joined 4 days prior to the show because their old drummer bailed on them) And when we played a song I wasn't too familiar with I played a fill i associate with slowing down, so basically it sucked. Haha
