Fanfiction is where people write their own stories based on the characters of another.

So, with Harry Potter, for example, you can find stories where Draco and Ginny are together - not something that happens in the book, but someone has written a story about it.

There are loads of places you can find fanfiction; try:

harrypotterfanfictionDOTcom (the DOT is in place of . as you can't type web addresses in comments on YouTube.

The kissing clup is actually from Driving Lessons, which starred Rupert Grint.

And I used it to signal the flash-back Hermione spoke about in Chapter 7.
