@WrekNeYez look closely. the civic let off the gas, lets the mustang pass, then gets back on the gas, and stays an even distance behind the mustang. it doesnt take much to beat those mustangs. 184whp was enough to RAPE them in my 2500lb 2000 coupe. this is a lighter, 92-95 hatchback. and no, thats my old power. i make 40whp more than that now with just bolt-ons. should be making more, but my tiny 2.36" exhaust killed my power.

@MegaRussell12 well, the "lightly modded" ones i raced, were intake, headers, exhaust, gears. they're 14.5-15 sec cars stock. the 05-09 GT's are 13.5 sec cars. and i beat them by about 4 cars. i dont have a governed speed limit. the 05-09 GT is governed to 150, and thats where i was 4 cars ahead. its known with a k20 sap, you should beat those GT's. and also beat one with bolt-ons. call my bluff. i have 3"intake, race header, exhaust, intake manifold, TSX cams, 410cc injectors, and its tuned

The header is known to be real restrictive. Its just a "swap" header to get my car running with the swap. And my stock exhaust is smaller than what the k20 comes with. I was losing power. Now you see I have more, and a tune....

@MegaRussell12 wow. in my channel, you can see my civic in the background. things have changed since my old videos. you can see theres a new intake manifold, and you might be able to notice its a new intake. i changed my mounts to raise the motor up and push it back, so i had to change my header. i have the cams. i can prove all this right now. need some pics since i know you wont come here? i didnt take it to the track. so what. but on the streets, ive taken down plenty of cars
@MegaRussell12 i can show you a civic coupe just like mine, but its the Si model, with less mods than my k20a2 motor has. and he ran 12.9. im not sayin i will run that. hes been practicing alot with his car at the track. but the mods i have compared to his k20a2 are more. and it is known, when swapping these motors into older civics, you should beat 05-09 and 2010 GT's. watch "k20 vs 08 GT". he just has a simple bolt-on k20 with a base map.
@MegaRussell12 its not alot of work to make 180whp in a 2000 and below civic. thats all you need to beat an 05-09 GT. when i had that little intake, and DC header, and stock exhaust, i had it dyno'd, and it made 184whp. i was losing power. a bone stock k20a2 should dyno ~180whp. keep in mind, i have way more mods now. and a simple intake, header, exhaust tuned can make 220+whp. and im not full of shit. what i said are facts. and its "you're" not "your" pretty funny.

@MegaRussell12 and now, i have a better 3" intake setup, race header, exhaust, RBC intake manifold, acura TSX cams, acura RDX 410cc injectors, and its dyno tuned on kpro. the TSX cams are the most aggressive OEM cams available for K-series motors. i can get 8-10hp from k20z1 cams, a few more from type-r cams, and a few more from TSX cams. what they're really known for, are their big torque gains in low RPMS. i may have a 4.7 final drive...who knows.

not all of our transmissions (im only mentioning 4 cylinders) have short gears. there are plenty with longer gears that can still keep up with V8's or beat them. i dont think the ones people turn into race cars at the strip have short gears with all that power they're making. they'd be going through gears too quick before hitting the end of the track. as a matter of fact, alot of people i know take out their short gear 6spd and put a longer gear 5spd in their k24 motors.
another point was, no stock, or lightly modded impala has ever beaten me, and i barely have anything done to my motor. but if you're making as much as you say, then wow. why compare your car to cars on the street? thats stupid. and im not a fucken kid, and my honda isnt the only car i own. you civilians are pieces of shit with no life.

@MegaRussell12 the people i know keeping their 6pd in their k24 motors, are the ones that are just bolt-ons making 230whp. the guys i know that are boosted to about 400-700whp have a 5spd in their k24. but yes. gearing can still definitely help. depends on your application.

@WrekNeYez look closely. the civic let off the gas, lets the mustang pass, then gets back on the gas, and stays an even distance behind the mustang. it doesnt take much to beat those mustangs. 184whp was enough to RAPE them in my 2500lb 2000 coupe. this is a lighter, 92-95 hatchback. and no, thats my old power. i make 40whp more than that now with just bolt-ons. should be making more, but my tiny 2.36" exhaust killed my power.

1,000hp is nothing? Buddy let me tell you something. You don't know the first thing about building a motor to withstand 1,000hp. Because if you did you would know that building a 1,000hp 2JZ is not only expensive but sometimes timeconsuming due to the simple fact that certain parts for the 2JZ are hard to come by and sometimes you have to actually know the right people to obtain these parts. The header is known to be real restrictive. Its just a "swap" header to get my car running with the swap. And my stock exhaust is smaller than what the k20 comes with. I was losing power. Now you see I have more, and a tune....

@MegaRussell12 i can show you a civic coupe just like mine, but its the Si model, with less mods than my k20a2 motor has. and he ran 12.9. im not sayin i will run that. hes been practicing alot with his car at the track. but the mods i have compared to his k20a2 are more. and it is known, when swapping these motors into older civics, you should beat 05-09 and 2010 GT's. watch "k20 vs 08 GT". he just has a simple bolt-on k20 with a base map.

@MegaRussell12 and now, i have a better 3" intake setup, race header, exhaust, RBC intake manifold, acura TSX cams, acura RDX 410cc injectors, and its dyno tuned on kpro. the TSX cams are the most aggressive OEM cams available for K-series motors. i can get 8-10hp from k20z1 cams, a few more from type-r cams, and a few more from TSX cams. what they're really known for, are their big torque gains in low RPMS. i may have a 4.7 final drive...who knows.

not all of our transmissions (im only mentioning 4 cylinders) have short gears. there are plenty with longer gears that can still keep up with V8's or beat them. i dont think the ones people turn into race cars at the strip have short gears with all that power they're making. they'd be going through gears too quick before hitting the end of the track. as a matter of fact, alot of people i know take out their short gear 6spd and put a longer gear 5spd in their k24 motors.

@MegaRussell12 i dont think they're special. now you're putting words in my mouth. i just know shit about them. and again, its not my only car, and i like domestics as well. you little kids assume too much.
i have a problem with civilians because all you do is whine too much, and feel tough on the internet, and have no life, so you have to talk shit all the time.

@MegaRussell12 the people i know keeping their 6pd in their k24 motors, are the ones that are just bolt-ons making 230whp. the guys i know that are boosted to about 400-700whp have a 5spd in their k24. but yes. gearing can still definitely help. depends on your application.
