@edamariko Of course not. The style is not close enough to the original and the person drawing this is not at a proffesional inking lvl.

That is not a G-pen. For outlining the character, a G- pen is then used. The nib-pen you are using is the maru- pen, normally used for the sketchy parts such as drawings trees and shadows. It can also be used to draw the character's eyes. However, using the maru pen to draw the character's eyes is inappropriate.

@MrLianjun There's nothing inappropriate in drawing with any material, Takehiko Inoue draws with a brush, Naoki Urasawa draws only with the maru-pen, and they're real professionals, are you gonna tell me that they're bad at drawing just because of the tools they use?

@Miganishi No, what I meant is since the artist of Bakuman draws with a G-pen, it is better for one to copy it with G-pen too. However, that will be his choice, not ours. We are free to draw with whatever we like. I'm sorry for that previous rash comment, but for @Miganishi, you should not assume that I believe that Takehiko Inoue or Naoki Urasawa are bad at drawing because of the tools they used. Assume makes an ass out of "u" and "me".

@MrLianjun Mmm, you're partly right, it's true that Obata-sensei uses a G-pen, but if you compare the kind of inking that you can make using a G-pen with that of a Maru-pen you'll find out that it's not that different, the great difference is how smooth it feels when using it and how much pressure you must use for certain thicknesses, but after lots of practices with both pens I found out that the thickness of both of them are almost on the same level, the maru pen is just slightly thinner.

@Miganishi Actually there is suppose to be a significant difference between those two pens, a good reader is able to distinguish which pen the artist using simply by reading the manga.

(see Air Gear or Tenjho Tenge) I've always wanted to know because his inking is real hardcore in quality (proven that he draw the traditional way and applies screentones in manga studio)! @BiGdaddyM100 He does! If you get manga studio and see some of the effects they have in there to paste them on your page quickly and easily you'll recognize them! Those things aren't sold to use them manually (proven after hardcore research).

@MrLianjun does it really matter what tools you use as long as you get the result you want? you could be an amazing artist and just use a #2 pencil and copy paper. and who ever is drawing this is super pro so its not inappropriate for them to do whatever they want
