juliebabyjulie...My wife has requested this song to be played at here funeral also. I love the soul in Reuben's vocie as well. I admit I am a hugh Keeny Loggins fan and I love his rendition and voice better, but Reuben does a good shorter version. A lot of tears to flow on that day

They both sing this song beautifully, but I think the original is and will always be the best. Doesn't matter what 'other' artist sings it nor the style they sing it in. Kenny Loggins' version will remain the best version, just can't mess with perfection.

well, technically other people are right for american idol season 7. the song you're talking about, "home" by daughtry, was the song played on american idol during season 6, but they used this song in the season that just finished in may.
