I think the "knots" are the same thing you do when you crochet.. just pull a loop part way through, then another loop part way through...

Mine is as long also, but about half a thick. I have rectangular face and this hairdo softens up my features. My bun is not a big, but if I braid it when it is damp, like right before I got to sleep, then when I get up It gives me volume without having to backcomb. Oh yeah when I twist it is looser and still goes up well.Thanks for the video This is a good site for newbies that already have pretty long hair.

I really like that updo, but could you now do a tutorial explaining how you made the knots exactly? Your fingers were just flying and I could barely see how you were doing it! :) It looked like you were making a chain or something with your hair and then rolling it up. You would look better if you cut your hair. The hair makes you look 10 years older than what you actually are. This hair style is great if you're someone living in the Victorian Age, but this is 2008. You're a pretty girl, loose that repressed-outdated look.

I never thought I would find something like this because I'm from México City and girls here (most of them) iron their hair so these type of hairstyles are kind of lost and they look really amazing. I hope to see more of your videos!!!!

Thanks for the answer!!!, my diet is not so bad, even though at my college we have lots of junk food, so I expect that my hair keeps growing nicely. The only problem I have is that I've noticed some split ends, but I always cut them when I notice more than usual. I really love to see your videos and I like the way you manipulate your hair to do those hairstyles.

Thanks for the comment! My hair is thicker and I do use hairspray when my hair is dry. If its wet I may use a spray gel. It holds really well so long as you pin it right otherwise you might end up with a headache :)

Thanks! The knots aren't too bad, they are like crochet. You make a loop and pull the hair part way thru the loop and then you pull the hair thru the new loop.
