i do not think junho was just impressing. he sincerely loves jieun. he repents of his infidelity and i think he has suffered enough to deserve forgiveness.
i hate the ending...my heart just about to burst while watching this final epis0de...just hurt one of them...that's better than leaving us the viewers hurting after watching 58 episodes.....what a waste since this is a great drama...
Seems she chooses someone who makes her happy not who she trying to impress. Is her basic instinct call. Rich or poor, love has no boundaries. In real life, it is really tough to be a totally happy woman. Win some, lose some.
the number of views for some episodes have increased noticeably.. the episodes had remained with very low numbers for some years. i think it increased along with JGW's popularity.
she accept junho back because eunji want dad so bad and mental torture from whole family. not because she really willing wholeheartedly. even when shes in the family, she look so sad and neglected. at the end she really running to happiness, to where her heart is.leaving eunji is sad but she s in good hands, precious in that family. as if the family really care if shes not around, they just want eunji!!!. she is being a happy woman with the one she really love......
Oh Gosh!! what a terrible decision Jieun made. She will never be a Happy Woman. She will only continue her sad life with an even sadder episode knowing that taesop's mom hates her for being a divorcee with a child. to top it all, her father is taesop's step father too, a taboo in korean culture. her words to taesop, saying that between him and eunji, her daughter will always prevail is not even true. how frustrating after 58 episodes. well, i will just end it the way i want as others did.
This is a very frustrating ending. i agree that the writer must have left the audiences to end the story as they wish. well i would like to create a better ending in my mind. For me the episode with taesop had ended. it was time for jieun to live the Happy Woman character that the series was named for-a life w/ Junho & Eunji in a house bought by Junho's father. Getting back w/ Taesop irritates me. Life w/ taesop will just be a contnuation of Jieun the Unhappy Woman as Tsop's mom hates her.

well, it seems that the writer wants the viewers to end the story the way they wish. in my case, i ended it with taesop dying, and junho and jieun reunited. on jieun's running to taesop, it was just a gesture of sympathy for old times sake, which junho understood of course. In my mind they left for the states and lived a blissful life. and, in jieun's state of happiness, she became indeed "A Blissful Woman."
i think i agree with franklinforever83. the author does not understand diction. maybe he thought blissful and happy are equal in context to describe the character of Jieun as supposedly someone with cheerful disposition.Even that, I did not even find her cheerful as well. she was always angry. She never lived a blissful life of her own making. she is all to blame for the infidelity of her husband. disgusting i hate her for choosing that cop over her daughter who adores her repentant father.
the ending was so disappointed. Why did Jee Young choose the Police guy and leave her husband and her daughter behind? SO SAD when Joon Ho was holding Eun Jin and called her name but she just turned around and looked and them with tears on her face and eventually rushed outside the door. I think that the writer didnt understand the words "Blissful Woman" If he or she did, then the ending should be that Jee Young, Joon Ho and Eun Jin will happy a happy family with husband, wife and their child.

this is a great drama but so disappointed ending! maybe the writer had just fought with his wife before he wrote the ending
