@Retillias yeah, try facing the mongols with spain,they have no fuckin spears, i never should have called that crusade on jerusalem, shoulda just left the mongols and tumurids to the russians, turks and egyptians, would have been much easier and cheaper.

@TheAshy14 I tried that first, but the Turks, Egyptians and Russians were useless, so by the time they met me, the Mongols already owned most of Asia and Africa...

@Retillias unlucky then, at least i managed to set up forts to block them entering my middle east empire by building them in the mountains of turkey and azerbijan, that makes there cavalry near useless by the way, really helped me if you do another playthrough it's a good idea to block off chokepoints with garrisoned forts to slow their advance

If I play another campaign, I'll get to it right away, but for now, I'm trying for Holy Roman world domination... Its nearly the year 2000 and I'm the largest of four remaining factions, but I'm still losing badly...

@TheAshy14 Well, at the moment, only the Timurids are causing any bother, because I suspect the Mongols are suffering as much as I am. And the other faction lives in Mexico, so they aren't really a big deal.... But maybe if I join forces with the Mongols, I'll be able to send the Timurids back to hell...

@Retillias lol good plan, i started a new spain campaign, took western fance and took the iberian peninsula except for protugal, trying to fund a crusade to jerusalem now, it'll be quite a while til i reach the stage you're at :L

This is the type of music you'll see in a war film, there will be a death montage, then you'll see a woman slightly crying, that is why i beleive its called "the widow" sad little tune, but i love it :)

If you have the game I believe there is also some application floating around in the net that allows you to extract all the songs from the game in the form of mp3 files.

@antred11 That would be a .DAT extractor then. From what I know all the music is compressed into a .DAT file except the loader music.
