  • 瞬殺・・・・だと・・・!?

    相撲でもこんな事ってあるんですね。

    なんか今日は日馬富士が稀勢の里をKOしたらしいです。見たかったなあ・・・。

  • カウンターのガゼルパンチ。

  • fatty cant get up..

  • ah stupid you!!! you just have big boobs,no skill, sumo has small penis (N)

  • counter!!!!???

  • crazyy shitt (:

  • Oh, just the basics - it really isn't that complicated.

That's why I love the sport.

You lose if: You touch the ground with anything but the soles of Your feet inside the ring, or touch anywhere outside the ring.

I'm just pissed off that Eurosport stopped sending the basho's.

Now I can't see them anymore. My favourite wrestler was Chiyotaikai, an old school Rikishi (power wrestler) - he just charged straight forward like a rhino, with thrusts to the face and chest of his opponents.

  • @Eatboom Eurosport stopped sending the basho's... what is the basho's?

  • @Jerrid3 A Basho is a 15 day tournament, with one match per day per wrestler.

8 or more victories earns you at least the right to stay in your current ranking, if not promotion.

8 losses or more and you risk demotion to a lower rank.

  • some sports-science TV programs said, rikishi's tsuppari attack force is strongest in All sports/ martial arts.

  • How come you don't see more hits like that in sumo?

  • Great palm Strike

  • 0:26 he was crying??!!

  • Sorry my japanese isn't great, but I swear the commentator said "'something' oishii desu" which means "something - is delicious" haha

  • amazing slap

  • that was a right hook

  • The guy just quickly punched him in the face in the beginning

  • That was so quick!!! The other guy did not even see it coming.

  • I thought a closed fist wasn't allowed, and it looked like that guy won it..

  • he punched him,

  • And what is the official Kimarite?

  • @warrior892

    Tsukitaoshi

  • Thanks a lot!

Saying the truth, it doesn't look like Tsukitaoshi at all for me...

  • @hardcore69 Sumo is the greatest sport ever!!!..what a strike!!!..more exciting than UFC...

  • @hardcore69 these guys are skilled masters..is he mongolian?..well either way its cool!!

  • @5tonyvvvv He is Japanese. After it had retired, he became a politician.

  • hahahahahahahahaha

  • Comment removed

  • Knocked the wind out of him.

  • Нормально, сначала отправил в ногдаун.

  • fist in his face

  • LOLOLOLOLOLOLOL

  • 左のやつ優しいなw

  • This match is "Kyokudozan" vs "Kushimaumi" in March 1993.

  • what the fuck happened?

  • kinnier sumo wins!!

    haha!1

  • shot ot the throat

  • he aint that big

  • he slap the guy in the face at a impact moment which double the recieving force. by the look of it, it was at the chin which if hit with enough force and at the right angle can shook the brain and cause a temp paralyze/stun. i would say it a lucky blow, to cause a stun with a slap to the face is anything but common.

  • If it was in the jaw it was most likely the concussive force applied to the Vagus nerve that knocked him out. Not any sort of blunt force trauma. While it's possible to give someone a concussion with such a blow, it's unlikely considering the amount of flesh, bone, and muscle that protects the skull.

  • @tanminh That is incorrect physics and analysis. In fact it is easier to cause a concussion with an open hand then a closed fist. If you focus all your energy with a knuckle your more likely to break the bone and not give a concussion. Concussion is created by forcing the skull as a whole into movement while the brain remains stationary. Your also wrong on the double receiving force analysis. Look it up :)

  • @tanminh yes well, the same principle of a ko punch basicly, only difference the blow doesn't come from a fist or knuckles or gloves, but it may well have the same effect...especially when the clash adds force to the blow

  • @giammira IT LOOKS like illegal --he can slap U ON Your EAR and kill.

  • he said 'brain shook '

  • when happened?

  • Perfectly timed palm slap pretty much resulted in what looked like a flash knockout and a win.

  • wow that should be disqualification.

  • Why? Its not an illegal technique.

  • wat happened

  • ???????

  • Man, that was stiff.

  • I'd tap that!

  • LOL!

  • Ouch! Right in the kisser!

  • ??????????????????????

  • That is money.

    30000yen

  • Damn, pimp slap ftw!

  • Damn, pimp slap ftw!

  • 旭道山好きだったのにな。、各方面から非難を浴びて 控えたらしいね。この張り手は

  • It's not a punch, it's a harite (hand slap).

Harite to the face is completely legal, but rarely results in a knockdown. I doubt kyokudozan intended that to happen, Kushimaumi just connected with his slap with such force.

  • Sumo is badass.

  • Love Sumo wrestling, lived in Japan for three years and love the people and culture.

  • asombroso.yo pense ke lo habian descalificado per un cabezaso.

  • unfortunately, japan has the highest average IQ (110) of all nations.( google it and find out the fact) East Asians tend to perform better than white trash even in US. By the way, there are some European sumo wrestlers and they do relatively well, even though they are not faster by any means. They usually have longer legs susceptible to long term injury.

  • as if I spoke about asian I.Q.

I spoke about strength. Europeans are stronger from asians. Many europeans live in the USa as well so we consider usa peope too inevitably.

See the olympics please. if we had time and parents let us gain all this weight then this asian sport would be ruled by some non-asian .

Who spoke about intelligence in the first place. jesus christ.

  • Population of Judo (the japanese martial art)in France is about 3 times larger than those in Japan, and how many medals did they win in Judo last Olympic? LOL More than simple strength is needed to play the Judo. Unfortunately europeans are simply unsuited to play as sophisticated sports as Judo and Sumo.

  • I wonder why you confuse judo with sumo now.

Judo is very different. YET, not all categories at the olympic games was the winner asian. Check back and then tell me your findings.

Can you see assashoryu just pushing the enemy down without really using techniue"? Well europeans are the best on "pushing" lol

best of luck. Now I won't take more time in this, I got tired.

  • Sorry, but South Korea has the highest IQ buddy.(106) IQ is also largely a product of education. Japan, and Asian societies in general, focus more on academics and success in education. By the way, the standard deviation for IQ is 15 points, so Japan's 105 means absolutely nothing, especially when combined with how rigorous their education system is.

  • OK, I admit my data was an old one. Japan has "merely" the 2nd highest IQ of all, though it used to have the highest. Your argument for IQ deviation is non sensical though, for Japan has continuously been among the best.

  • @pleiotropicaction I think you are on a superiority trip about being Japanese, I assume you are Japanese.

I like your thing about long legs and Europeans. lol

I think Asians are going down the wrong road and worshipping tall stature though, as Europeans have for a long time.

I am a short white guy btw.

Superiority trips are bad, maybe you are superior, but superiority trips are bad for all.

  • 旭道山好きだったのにな。この張り手は、各方面から非難を浴びて控えたらしいね。

  • Slapped him across the face, with his right hand.(0:05 sec) So ... ummm ... we won't be seeing any wrestling.

  • that was brutal xD

  • um, wat happened? the show only happen in 1 second?? if i'd be the audience, i want my money back

  • ale mu przykurwił ;DD

  • いいなあ、旭道山。

    こういう力士がそろそろまた出て来ないかな。

  • that was punch xaxa

  • wow, nice hit

  • that was punch omg

  • Exactly. Wonder if a truck would knock that guy out then.

  • it wasnt punches arent allowed in sumo but open hand slaps and palm strikes are all legal

  • ガチンコ力士ゆえの悲劇

  • greate!one shootkill!

  • あー、こういう相撲、もっと見たいです!

    相撲の武道的側面(相手の虚を突く?)を垣間見る事が出来ました!

  • it wasnt on purpose though, things like this r bound to happen when 2 big guys r runin into each other.

  • It was a deliberate hit, but I don't think Kyokudozan expected it to work as it did. You could see he was going for morozashi (an inside grip on the belt) right afterward.

  • i wonder if he can do jumping jacks. hahahaha. put him on a treadmill. hahaahahha

  • It was legal. He won fair and square.

    -jcr

  • god did you hear his jaw clack? ugh

  • the smaller sumo wrstler hitted his oppent on the chin thats how he got knocked out

  • kotoosho rulz...

  • i didnt know you could punch in sumo wrestling thats not even fair

  • Open hand strikes and thrusts are legal. Hair pulling, eye gouging and kicks to the upper body are not. Many people think these guys are just fat slobs, but they are powerful, nimble and highly skilled wrestlers!

  • so by knocking him out he lost?

  • No, he won by a perfectly legal open palm strike. He even got a bit of bonus money (the envelopes handed over in the end).

I do believe strikes are considered bad form, though.

  • thanks for that, i know nothing about sumo

  • @Eatboom wow I did not know all that thanx man..I did not know strikes are allowed.what else do u know about this stuff?

  • Nice nice.. I think they said Akka Shoyu about 45 times,. :)

  • kusooo...

  • This Was the Funnyist Video on Youtube.

  • that was brutal.nothing to laugh at

  • haha see how the winner takes a large sum of money LOLOLOO

  • that's not money u retard.first time u watch a sumo match?

  • kensho-kin:encouragement money in a single sumo bout by a single sponsor whose amount is specified(currently 60000 yen half of which is given to the winning rikishi) ;sometime upto 30 or even more kensho-kin are bought in a very anticipated sumo bout

  • You can see the name of the company sponsors on banners before the bout.

What did you think those envelopes contained?

  • wow just one slap

  • fat shits

  • is it legal??

  • yes.

    punch is not legal.

    but slap is legal.

  • I love it

  • wtf, hahaha

  • sucker punch FTW

  • Allez prend ca dans ta gueule ^^

  • hes a little cheater and a dirty little pervert, notice how he fondles his MOOB after helping him up!...

  • hahahahahahahha

  • この突きがあればK1優勝など容易いだろう

  • was that a slip, or did his knees simply give out. the first guy on the right.

  • When the other guy charged, he hit the bigger one on the ear, so he went down from the impact near his brain.

  • E honda would beat them all

  • what about ganryu from tekken

  • i think he went for a slap. but missed and went for his throat by accident

  • He got knocked da fuck out!

  • I can understand this...

You can see my videos musicals sing for my, I wait for you coments...

  • casso uno è il doppio dell'altro...

  • stupid

  • Kushimaumi's breasts were severely damaged in the fight. He may have to get implants.

  • he already did. there is a ton of silicon in him

  • Kushimaumi's beasts were severly damaged in the fight.

  • E. Honda!

  • cha no entiendo nada de sumo pero el man qdo nokiao

  • well played

  • i always love to watch them

  • thank you

  • LOL! atkins time

  • どんだけ~!!!!!

  • Aaa... Sumo jest fajne jak byłam chora to przez cały dzień na EuroSport oglądałam... Ale ci faceci są przystrojni

  • I kept watching the first few seconds, the smaller sumo popped the bigger one in the face.

  • What the hell happened?? did he get hit in the face or somthing?

  • watch again in slowmotion.

    left side wrestler's slapping.

  • wow we r just watching sports. would you say watching football makes u a nerd homo without a life. you are clearly mentally challenged

  • i wonder how do they sit on a toilet

  • Wow that one of the left threw that punch so fast...i keep replaying it and can just barely see his hand move...

  • its not a punch its a slap they arnt allowed to punch only slapping

  • so slapping fat bitches

  • that looked more like a palmstrike... I doubt it was a legal thing to do

  • Palm strikes are legal.Pulling on the opponent's top knot or punching, gouging,or biting him means instant disqualification and loss.

  • Yeah it looked like a palmstrike more than a closed fist. Probably just misplaced his aim. Palmstrike to the face/head legal?

  • Perfectly legal,Duke. However techniques that involve throwing the opponent or manoeuvring him out of the ring, using a grip on the mawashi(silk belt), are apparently considered more aesthetically pleasing by sumo purists.

  • Ahh i see, so grappling is more preferable to strikes.

  • this sumo is MEGA MEGA MEGA FAT

  • Do u think left side wrestler is also mega fat??

    Do u have eyes??

  • I just noticed that some of these sumo wrestlers aren't THAT fat compared to our standards. ;)

  • they are fed 7 bowls of stew a day from child hood and those bowls of siup conbtain 3k calories each, then they convert that fat to muscle, so i guess it depends on the individual and how their body reacts to that food/training

  • you cant convert fat into muscle...thats a myth

  • Thats incorrect. IT is easier to build muscle when your fat if your willing to put forth the effort, your fat provides an excess of ATP (adenine tri phopshate the energy your muscle cells require for physical exertion) Though the fat is a bit of hamper, it provides more resistance which only speeds the training.

  • You cannot turn fat into muscle. That was my statement. Whether it aids or not i don't know. Otherwise bodybuilders would not undergo extensive cutting phases and loose muscle mass in the process. Fat is not as readily available for energy as you may believe and once levels of cortisol elevate, dynamic effort is needed to burn off this stored energy

  • Bodybuilders are all about the APPEARANCE of the muscles, not the amount or functionality of the muscles. Even if fat helped muscle-building, they wouldn't let themselves keep an ounce of it because it would ruin the way they look.

  • Actually, bodybuilders gain fat when the bulk in the offseason. They just go on cut diets and lose it all for showtime.

  • Actually bodybuilders are capabable of lifting enormess heavy weights. the muscles aint just for show they are also incredibly strong.

dont make a dumb comment if u dont know what ur talking bout.

  • Hope you ever fucking lifted a dumbell in your motherf...ing life, Watch training videos of Ronnie Coleman, Mike Mentzer, Dorian Yates or Franco Columbu all of whom can bulk up to gargantuan proportions and lift tremendous amounts of weight. BTW can you differentiate Squats from deadlifts? Talking is cheap MoFo.

  • Actually it's more a percentage,something like 70 appearance.I won't deny fighting a bodybuilder would suck,but when have you seen someones 8pack kill a man?

  • japanese have strangggge sports

  • that must hurt.

  • the japenese have straaannge traditions...

  • Ouch, that was pretty fast but it would have been hard for the smaller one (I say small, he is probably still 6'3 or more lol) to win in a drawn out match methinks.

  • hey, there, sorry about the more spam, but watch my newest videos..... please i almost promise you will like them

  • This is legal.

    Slap is legal.Punch is foul.

  • there are no rules..i think

  • funny how he couldnt get up ... faty

  • Yes it is legal.

    1. In Sumo it is not about the bigest guy it is about the superior Rikishi.

    2. Yes they do have instant reply. The head judge, he is the guy in black sitting next to the Dojho with his back to the camera, I think it is Kokonoe oyakata. Has an earpeice, which another judge can look at the reply and tell the cheif judge what happened. The ringside judges can overturn the Goyi (referee's call).

  • i didnt know that you could do that in sumo!?!?

  • obviously the little guy used his only resort against someone twice his size, he couldve choked to death, jeeze that was so cheap!!!
