Gold panning and testing new sluice at Yankee Jims

You're nuggets look a little large for a test. I have lived down there at Yankee Jims and always got nice size gold but for a test, you would be better off just going to the Bear River camp ground where there are tons of fines. If you didn't find any gold in the sluice then what was your final deduction on how it was working?

That's a cool little sluice, It looks like its well made. with a sluice that clean you could probably sell them pretty easy.

good test was that the one sluice box that you made back beginning of summer?

Yeah, I just took out the riffles and modified it for this idea. Needs more testing though. I need to run some finer stuff through it and see if it catches it all.
