When Jesus referred to the temple he was actually referring to himself. The Bible even tells you this specifically. Jesus is going to fulfill prophecies when he comes back.

A theory: In the Gospel according to Luke, we find another man named Jesus. The title he is given translates literally as "Son of the Father", i.e., son of God. He was a man who caused insurrection and sedition amongst the people and ended up being released on their command. His name is given as Jesus Barabbas. Could it be possible that Barabbas was the warrior messiah of the prophecies of Isiah and that the wrong man has been worshipped for 2000 years?

He was not born until 37CE and did not start his historic recording until several decades later. This makes what they report hear say. No historian writing from 0 to 33CD wrote a word about this Jesus. The Roman's records reveal no evidence either. The Saul experience I referred to is the conversion incident involving Saul of Tarsus, whom later became Paul. This is all New Testament teaching...you will find this incident in the book of Acts.

The Greek word for virgin is παρθενος parthenos. The lamb was the passover animal (death passes over - understand). Not sure what bible you're reading there hybrid.

@HybridD91 No, according to all the lexicons Parthenos means virgin. The use of alma which only implies virginity is clarified by the outcome in the NT and changes nothing. In a theological sense it is not hard to see the implications Christ meant when he celebrated the passover with his disciples. The passover and the whole OT system is replaced by the person and actions of Christ. The OT says as much in the latter prophets.

Reason I asked about the Passover being about Christ's ressurection is because Jehovah's Witness celebrate that as the Passover, when in the fact, the Passover had nothing to do with atonement or sacrifice for sins and the animals used for atonement was not a lamb, it was a bull and goat(2) as stated in Leviticus 16(Yom Kippur in Jewish culture) but Hebrews 10:1-5 seems to disagree with God. What is reported of this Jesus character is based only on stories written down well after the time attributed to the event, with not a scrap of real world evidence. No mention of him by the score of historical writers contemporary to the time of his alleged life, only by those writing decades later, and even those writings are highly suspect.

I have 2 theorys. Either Jesus did exist but wasnt the Messiah, or Jesus was the Messiah but the bible is messed up. People mentioned in the bible and other religious stuff could have existed but be told of differently, since its written by a different person and not the man or woman themselves. A theory: In the Gospel according to Luke, we find another man named Jesus. The title he is given translates literally as "Son of the Father", i.e., son of God. He was a man who caused insurrection and sedition amongst the people and ended up being released on their command. His name is given as Jesus Barabbas. Could it be possible that Barabbas was the warrior messiah of the prophecies of Isiah and that the wrong man has been worshipped for 2000 years?

The Saul experience I referred to is the conversion incident involving Saul of Tarsus, whom later became Paul. This is all New Testament teaching...you will find this incident in the book of Acts.
The Apostle Paul was first called Saul.

Isaiah 7:14 is a dishonest attempt to fabricate a messiah because the Hebrew word used in place of virgin in the Christian translations of the Bible(s) is almah, young woman, where as virgin in Hebrew is betulah. The Jews didn't mention a Nazarene as the messiah and the NT authors even chose the wrong animal for atonement, it's not a lamb.

The Greek word for virgin is παρθενος parthenos. The lamb was the passover animal (death passes over - understand). Not sure what bible you're reading there hybrid.

@HybridD91 No, according to all the lexicons Parthenos means virgin. The use of alma which only implies virginity is clarified by the outcome in the NT and changes nothing. In a theological sense it is not hard to see the implications Christ meant when he celebrated the passover with his disciples. The passover and the whole OT system is replaced by the person and actions of Christ. The OT says as much in the latter prophets.

What is reported of this Jesus character is based only on stories written down well after the time attributed to the event, with not a scrap of real world evidence. I not only opened it, I read it from cover to cover. That was just ONE of the factors that helped me to realize that it was just a book wriiten by men who were probably, the best minds they had of the day. No it isn't. Please show me one OT verse where the messiah comes twice delaying most everything prophesied about him for a later time. You can't and that is because there is nothing about such a second advent. That was cooked up to try to stuff a square peg (Jesus) into a round hole (the requirements of the Messiah).

What are the failures of the Jewish people? Is it wrong to have a leader of a generation (i.e like Abraham, the Patriarch/Matriarchs, Moses, Joshua, Prophets, Kings, Judges, Rabbomin etc) that will lead to a Messianic era of peace etc?

Well that were we differ. I do believe in an Messianic era, were there will be peace throughout the world, no economic disparity, no illness etc. Pure Unity among all. It is prophesied by many Jewish Prophets & says so in the Torah. U may think that it is impossible & that there will always be enemies & war - but let me enlighten u that it is such thinking that brings about division & hinders unity. I have 2 theorys. Either Jesus did exist but wasnt the Messiah, or Jesus was the Messiah but the bible is messed up. People mentioned in the bible and other religious stuff could have existed but be told of differently, since its written by a different person and not the man or woman themselves. Overall christianity is messed up. For example, the cross. What type of person would want everyone in the world to have a model of there death? If it were me on the cross id be freaked out, literally.

It seems likely to me that he was another one of those Messiahs who tried to rebel against Roman oppression by claiming he came from God. They just put him on a cross and forgot about him.

I checked out all of your verses and i came to the conclusions that you miss interpret most of the verses.
JESUS is the promise of GOD. He did unite many nations. Many nations are united in JESUS CHRIST.
He was the Seed of David. Joseph was a descendant of David. And the reason Jewish people rejected Christ is because it was written that the Jews had to reject him. Isaiah 42:1-4 "...Nor cause his voice to be heard in the streets.."

The Torah never says the Messiah will be "God", in fact, as Netwriter points out (Deut 13:1-6) the Hebrews are specifically warned of false prophets who claim such things.

The Old Testament does actually mention the second coming from memory the book of Daniel Isaiah., Malachi.. the event is called .. That Great Day, The Last Days and End Times from what I can remember
This is another example why atheists shouldnt judge the Bible since they dont know how to read it properly and what are the odds of Jesus Christ to fulfil those prophecies?

oh, so the bible says you will know the messiah by his fulfillment of the prophecies. the OT never mentions a second coming. when he doesn't fulfill the prophecies as stated, you give him a pass to fulfill them during a "second coming".
do you see what's going on here? you're making excuses for your god not living up to the predictions in the OT.

Many Orthodox Jewish scholars disagree, Jesus wasn't able to fulfill all biblical prophecy, and the evangelicals created the false doctrine of the second coming as a way to have so Jesus could, but you only have one shot to be the Messiah but Jesus didn't do it.
