Ron Strykert's guitar playing reminded me a lot of Elliot Easton of The Cars. Neither was the flashiest nor the most technically adept, especially in the early 1980s when guitar masturbation became popular. Yet both had a sense of taste, of filling solos with *just* *enough* notes, never too few or too many (sorta like Brian May or Jeff Beck, in a way).

It's a shame the band fell apart the way it did. This has to be my favorite song of theirs. I think it's dumb people thought they were a poor man's Police when they were more closely connected to The Clash than The Police. @wheezer When I listen to this song I don't hear the lyrics. It reminds me of being a fifteen y/o during the summer of 1983. Riding my Mongoose to my friends house for a pool party. We had not a care in the world except for how and where we can get some beer for that night to sneak into the local new home construction site halfway deep into the woods. Some of those young kids now have families, some have passed or took unexpected wrong paths. God bless youth. I miss them all.
